Got the Quadrilogy at the weekend. So far I'd say that Alien3 "Assembly Version" is the best. The additional scenes add a lot to flesh out the characters, and it's only when you see it, that you realise how butchered the theatrical release was.
Of course, Aliens DC is still right up there... "You don't see them ******* each other over for a goddamn percentage!"
Resurection, not too bad really, only seen it a few times, and need to watch the theatrical release now I've seen the SE (It's not a DC. The froggie says "Zee DC was zee version I made in 97, haw, he, haw, he haw!)

Predator would have to win for me.
Kills all the aliens kills all nearby people then goes home. Leaving earth intact for future fun and frolics Predator stylee.

Aliens is best followed by Alien. Suppose Alien 3 next, and as for four i can remember very little, save for the fact Ripley had black nails.
AVP is hopefully going to be a very good film. Will be very disappointed if it turns out to be anything less than an 18 rated film, would hate to see the genre watered down.
Bill Paxton is in both films
And IMHO predator is better than Predator 2.
In any case AVP has a lot to live up to looking at the best Alien and predator movies.

after reading this thread i watched Aliens DC last night on DVD full surround 
ive seen the film loads of times but it still freaks me out
"whats that noise"

And everything would of been fine if Newt hadnt been too excited and ran away from ripley and fell down the shaft
