Corsa couldnt peel the skin off a rice pudding. I punished one 3 times in a row in my younger days of XR2i driving.... Did I just admit that?!

If you are onto Lancias, how about Flavia (or 2000 coupe). It even has a flat 4 watercooled motor and an all aluminium bodied version made by Zagato.
(Agree with the 8.32, serious grunt and looks ordinary)

'Don't forget the Lotus Carlton. It looks like a normal Vauxhall with a couple of small vents in the bonnet'
Come on, you can hardly say the steroidal LC looks like a normal Vauxhall !

Another shout for the Polo G40..... fantastic car!
Had one for 3 years 145 bhp 720 kg!
I'd buy another tomorrow! Well that is if they weren't twice the price of the one I sold 4 years ago!
The real wolf in sheeps clothing!
Plums.

B*gger, that Maser's certainly tempting. There were three versions, IIRC:
1) UK-spec, 2.8 V6, 285bhp
2) Euro-spec, 2.0 V6, 300bhp (LHD)
3) "Cup" spec, 2.0 V6, 330bhp (26 in RHD, 60 in LHD)
