Some of my more unusual cars.
MG Maestro Tickford Turbo, seriously rapid FWD. Had 2 of them, one was later converted to the rover 220 turbo engine, fu**ing hard to handle in the wet.
Renault 11 Turbo, pretty nippy, very rare.
Renault 5 Turbo phase 2 (getting rarer)
MK 1 Fiesta XR2
Renault 5 Maxi Turbo, Mid engine rear wheel drive in a wide bodied biscuit tin, very very quick. Always

I've just bought an M reg Nissan Primera eGT for £200 with 4 months MOT. Looks so boring you could lose it in a car park but super sweet handling and a 150 bhp twin cam with a 7500rpm red line.

In its day a 309GTI was quite subtle, everyone was on the look out for the more obvious (and better looking) 205.
Modern day cars like the C43 and the newer C32 AMG's are difficult to distinguish from the norm.
Others
Rover SD1 Vittesse
Roves 827 Vittesse
Rove 620Tii thingy
and weren't there quite a few subtle looking volvo turbos.

Didnt ford make an Escort RS turbo with 1.7 engine and 4WD? RS 1.7T
Quite liked the Fiestya RS1800 only 490 odd only made, cousin had one and it was pretty quick pre cat! They also made a 4x4 Rs2000 escort thats mega rare.
Golf Rallye lhd supercharged mrk 2 with a sexy flared body and differeant front end! Havnt seen one for years.

On the same note, the Celica GT4 also turbo charged, think it's the same engine unit, but 4wd, and rally bred (supposidily), an alternative to a classic scoob for same sort of money - odd looking though!
i love the fact that most people have no clue what they are and the fact they are relatively rare to see on the roads. This adds to the surprise when people get beaten.. I Especially like wasting the Porsche 911s

For me it has to be a Tommy Kiara ZZII

Although the Nissan R390 GT1 is up there too.

Mitsubishi fto , especially the older generation always get asked what is that.
Looks good if you debadge and change wheels etc, no silly spoilers or bodykits looks better.

I have a 93' GMC Typhoon. There are only a few people that have ever heard of them or actually know what they are. Total production #'s were around 4000 and they only made them for 2 yrs.
