I was there helping the film crews get sorted out amongst other stuff. Do you, or anyone else for that matter, have any thoughts or ideas that you would like put forward to the organiser for next year.

For example what did you think of the yump? Was there a massive risk of causing damage to the cars?

Do you think a water splash would be a good feature for next year?

I will speak with the film company owner soon and find out when the programme is going to be aired and let everyone know.

Hopefully blag a video of the event out of him as well!!

Stephen
Yump was great, too many peeps didnt take it flat out on the 1st run but we did, what we did find is that there was not enough grip or lenght to get even more height on the jump so maybe that could be looked at.

Water splash? well why not as long as its a shallow one as water into throttle boddies aint much cheapness to fix.

The organisation could be alot better with at least a reply to confirm the entry is accepted, and an updated entry list on the web as it is filling up.

Include it as a round of a championship, possibly the STRC but on the condition the entry fee drastically reduces in price.

If DCC can get an entry in excess of 80 for Ingliston next Saturday 7th August then surely with some persuasion an entry of over 120 is possible.

Hope this helps.

Oh and another thing,we won class 1 and when we went to recive our prize Mr Miller only filmed the O/A winner and then f**ked off, poor show miller,at least film US ALL getting our prizes and edit your tape afterwords if you want but that was just bang out of order.

Now now Stephen, did you not get into trouble for something like that before?

Corsa still needs some repairs after ukrc but as we are not doing the strc we aint really too bothered.

It is an opportunity not to be missed, there is a slight problem with the car and i will not know for definite until later in the week but hope to god he gets it fixed.

Go for it Davie. Then you can come out with me and tell me how to drive I need all the help I can get.
I remember at Ingliston a few years ago when I was out in my 1300 Mk1 Escort and I had just fitted 4 pots and new cut slicks. I was on the the limit braking and Tom just drove round me. I thought b******. I hate 6R4s. I don't really but they don't need to rub it in!
