Ran Feinnes has an admirer in me. Yes some of the things he's done are bit off the wall, like removing his digits himself in his garden shed with his black and decker.......BUT, did you take in his expression when the subject moved to his dearly recently departed wife? He looked heartbroken. What a guy. Human to the core.

TG is great entertainment. Finally a car program that just tries to take an interesting view rather than size of engine, speed etc. They take it from different slants to appeal to different groups.
Who else will stand up and rip to pieces this governments transport policies ? We need TG just for that.

I watched the filming of Sunday nights show.
Top Gear actually showed us a picture of Ranulphs hand when he had frostbite...eugh.
He spoke so quietly during the interview that most of the time I couldn't hear him.
Shame he has to keep busy so he doesn't grieve.
As for the muppet who spoke of Fiat. He really thought he was right. I wasn't expecting that part to get broadcast.
I think they struggled for studio material that day as sections I thought would be cut out were broadcast.

was amusing to watch but they did it for austin years ago, and the parachutist droped out much further away, the car was going much faster and the driver had to wear a seat cover to make it look like the car was driving itself!
anyone got a link to the GT40 vid by any chance??
