Let's face it, we've all acted like 'Jack the Lad' once or twice so I really don't see what the big deal is.

By carrying out these Not Aloud things JAE will have problems with continuing at Billing.

I understand that its all about enjoyment. But what happens if Billing says - Sorry Folks it aint going to happen here no more ?

Seem'd ok to me but then i'm pretty chilled about stuff, i'm sure Billing are used to a few people fragging up the grass every now and then too, i've been going to shows there for years (it's only 10 miles from home) and you aways get a few donuts at the end.

It's the same at the Pod when you get a rain-out.

3pm? I was on the PE stand then too

Other than that, was it a good show?

Come on guys ( & Girls) there seems to be an awful lot of talking on this thread.

I have one simple comment " Less Talk, More Video ", then we can all judge for ourselves.

Sitting in a Stationary Car with a few pops and flames coming out of the exhaust. Is a differnt department form Driving about at speed doing donuts isnt it ???

I spoke to a friend today who attends the Landrover Rally which takes place a week before us, a couple of years ago a chap, who was very drunk, decided to do some do nuts in his ole V8 Landrover, he lost control and went partly over a tent, there was a young girl asleep in that tent, luckly the wheels just missed her, but the tent was destroyed.
The man in the Landrover was dragged out and was given a good seeing too.

Donuts can Kill while Popping and flaming exhaust cant ? can they ?

Whilst your last point it valid 'nutting a V8 landrover whilst pissed is not quite the same as doing it in a Scoob whilst sober, is it?

Anyway here is the vid. It's just my donut because the original vid was 90meg, and I'm speaking for myself, not the others. (Oh, and I'm wearing a baseball cap because my head got sun-burned on the saturday )

Donut video

Judge for yourselves.

Nice donut and flames. Personally DreXeL I would have not done what your video shows you doing. However you now have your second audience.

brian, this is scoobynet, not the CIA.

for the benefit of anyone who is remoteley interested I suggested that dreXel's ( still got the dreadlocks???), donut was distinctly dull, and the bloke who shot it was Swahili,as I could not understand a fookin word he said, though in hidsight ( and firther vid viewing ) , it's possible that he may be a geordie.

also posted a link to a vid ( that I found on SN ) of a plonker trying to pull a donut and getting it slightly wrong - in a spartan- in a car park-big fcukin deal.

LOL, no I haven't got dreadlocks, I don't have any hair I did get the name from True Romance though, quality film

Anyway, the accent you hear is Bristolian, but your right, it does indeed sound swahili on that vid

As far as the donut not being impressive, well that wasn't the point. I was doing it for my own enjoyment, that's all. Just some fun.

Yes, I realise I dropped a bollock with the punctuality comment

The crowd appeared after we started the donuts, I wasn't donutting for the crowd.

Oh dear. You say it's about time the thread ended then you post argumentative comments. Have you not read anything I said??? I WAS DOING IT FOR MY OWN FUN, NOTHING ELSE. Go away and read the entire thread and my replies, I'm not going to repeat everything for you.

And why are you calling the video sad, I only posted it so people could make their own judgements, I didn't post it because I thought it was a 'cool' video

Drex - I wouldn't bother wasting your keyboard time anymore mate - you have stated your case and have linked the video, I don't think you can do much more to show and explain what happened The main thing is you enjoyed it so did some onlookers too and no-one was hurt....surely case closed isn't it

[QUOTE=DreXeL]No I was not. I was on a stand with a club that covers ALL jap performace cars, not just scoobs (Ultimate Japanese Car Club). I was on the SIDC stand at Japfest last year, you kind of blend in when parked amongst 500 other scoobs so I went on a stand where I was the only scoob.

So you want your car to get noticed? Ergo, you are a showoff, and you were playing up to the crowds!

PS: Glad you took my last comment in the spirit it was intended

I think you are the sad one mate.

The whole point is its not often you get a patch of grass a) big enough b) that you are driving on and c) at a car show.

Its not like you are going to go hunting for grass to do donuts on and its not like any of us have gardens big enough to do it on. It was clearly a spur of the moment opportunity, like a snow-covered empty car park.

There was nothing remotely dangerous that I could see from the video and it didn't exactly do much damage to the grass, have you seen what camping does to grass??? Does that stop them allowing hundreds to camp?

Some true fVckwits on this thread.
