Did a week’s touring around Cornwall in the Scoob a couple of weeks ago. Stayed at a campsite in St Ives and went out each day, did around 1000 miles whilst down there and visited loads of places – a really nice part of the country. Most night’s we ended up in The Sloop in St Ives harbour for much needed Stella and food!
Only saw about 6 Scoobs whilst we were down there (all waved), though I got the impression they are thin on the ground down there after all the attention mine received!
Eden Project – well worth a visit.
Did loads of little villages all around, Mousehole was one of the nicest.
St Ives, nice and quiet but plenty of nice bars, etc.
Trebah Gardens, really nice tropical gardens with its own private stretch of beach. As good a day out as the Eden Project, and a great drive out from St Ives :d
Old Estate house and gardens being renovated – well worth a visit
And talk about irony; managed to avoid getting dumped on by a seagull for the whole week (although one made a failed attempt to get hold of my ice cream). The day we got back up to Staffordshire we went round to a mate’s for a Barbie, and whilst outside a bird dropped it’s load on my hand – first time it’s ever happened!

Been there, done that.
Not with that particular lady of course.
I may be wrong but here goes, the photo was taken 20 yards further on from the white Hue and cry building.
A building used by people to spot shoals of fish, they would then shout out to the fishermen below and guide them to the fish, they were known as hue'ers.
Its where the band 'Hue and Cry' got their name.
Anyone still awake...yawn, yawn...

THE hill is quite good, I have to agree LOL! There is a restaurant place on the Perranporth side of it that looks crappy from the outside but we found the portions to be huge and excellent value.
newport_white_scooby....... can you ask her to hitch the skirt up a bit more next time
