Carl, if its crystal headlights you are after, you'l probably find that someone will gladly p/ex their lights + some cash for your morettes ![Wink](images/smilies/wink.gif)
Either that or you could go for functionality....
Remove the inner sidelights and fit cold air ducting to the airbox/induction kit![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Thats what I did about 8 years ago on my Saxo VTS

Ive just fitted some to mine, was going to get them painted white but, after reading this i am going to leave them black, they just need the facelift bonnet to finish it off now,
carls car looks good either way,

it's a really hard one to judge, thing is when you have your fog lights on show, the round shape of the morette's suits them better, so in that respect the lines of the car work. they compliment the fogs..
But the sidelight problem is the bit that puts me off them. the side;ight kinda looks on it's own at the side of the car, spraying them body coloured works, but something just doesnt sit right.
On the other hand the morette's give the car more of an evil stance and suit the scoobys image and looks.
like i said .... a hard one to judge, your car looks really great either way, wheels look superb. Car sits nicely. Love white the whole car looks so clean !!!!
Maybe consider using the morette's in the winter when it's darker ( for performance reasons )?? and the OE ones in the summer..... lol

Hmmmmmmmm, seeing the 'shop of my car with black Morettes every time i scroll down this page is making me reconsider........ flat4 i hate you! ![Stick Out Tongue](images/smilies/tongue.gif)
Yeah John i had considered offering a swap for crystals but looking at things methodically, i think the Morettes will stay for the time being as they work better than the OE's. Had i never experienced them i would have probs been more than happy with crystals but i have tried them and i like them!
So, matt black is looking like an option at the moment (paint has chipped on one light where it's caught the bonnet anyway) but that would still leave the side-light.
Spraying the side-light white is also an option, although i'm not about to jump into doing that without seeing lots of good examples!! Can feel a poll coming on sometime over the next few weeks...
Buzzer, i know it's hard to tell from the pictures above but i couldn't have covers like Richards if i wanted to as they don't fit over my PIAAs.
I'm more than happy with my £9 a-piece throw away covers anyway.

Carl, add a poll, or start a new thread ![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
1) Paint them black
2) Leave them on in white
3) Crystal all the way!
Personally, I think the black look in flat4's shopped image looks god as it contrasts with the black grille and door handles against all that white.

Just fitted morettes on my00 classic (mica red) & painted up.
Personally i think they improve the looks & vision at night with PIAA bulbs installed.
No negative comments (yet) from anyone who has seen them but it wouldn't bother me anyway, each to their own.
Mark.

if u want the side lights to blend in, u could get them painted and then use the sidelight function of the morrettes, abit like this car

not to everyones taste i kno, but helps to blend the morrettes in with the rest of car

What do you reckon aesthetics wise?
I personally can't help but think i'm ruining the cleaner lines the OE headlights leave. However, the performance of the Morettes does make up for any dodgy looks. It's literally like night and day between the two!
Can't wait to get the PIAA's working again, i'll be able to blind people at 400 paces!
