If violent videogames turn people into killers that my brother and myself would have been the next Krays twins by the age of 14.
There are a million other people that have been playing the same game and one kills someone.
The parents are obviously pointing the finger away from themselves and their son.

As far as Marylin Manson being responsible. He was the only one that said anything intelligent when interviewed in Bowling for Columbine!

There was similar controversy to kingpin when it first came out. I do agree these types of games will affect a Chav mind but this guy must have been seriously mentally disturbed as he lured his best mate into some woods then slit his throat and stabbed him.

If they are going to ban this game then they should ban Gangster rap as the lyrics are just as bad.

If it gets banned, will the s/h price of copies rocket as I have an X Box version , played through it once, the deranged 'Piggy' was a bit disturbing!

Talking

Was quite funny yesterday watching the press crawling all around Rockstar's offices (who share a building with us)

Was so tempted to fabricate a nice wee tale for them as I walked out at lunchtime

I hate games that involve killing people. Just not my type of fun.

" If computer games affected us as children we would all be running around
darkened rooms munching pills while listening to monotonous music"

Said by the nintendo boss some years ago in the pacman era LOL

I agree!!

Once, after a long session on GTA Vice City, i got in my car and was driving along the road when i spotted a guy on the pavement. I swear, that for one moment in time i was actually going to run him down. Thankfully i didnt which is why im typing this from home and not a high security mental hospital

Although i do still get tempted to initiate 'drive-by's' when i venture past my local Pikey plantation
