I met her at uni way back in 1991, but we didn't start seeing each other until Feb 2001.
We have a 8 month old daughter and are getting married next year

Met one as she was a friend of a friend, met another in a chat room (I'll let you guess which chat room ), and have met a few girls from internet dating.
I work for a small company, and am now based in Canada, and I'm not the most outgoing person in the world (despite the fact that some photos might dispute that fact ) so meeting people, eg; girlies, is not that easy. That's part of the reason I'm into internet dating.
OK, it's not for everyone, but hey, I'm not a total freak and neither are any of the girls I've met. I'd certainly give it a go, you don't HAVE to respond to anyone who contacts you, and it is pretty annoymous, so you should not have some bunny boiling stalker after you

He was in a band, and they were doing an end of term art college gig. They wanted to do some songs with female vocals and knew I sang, so asked me to do it. The rest they say, is history, almost twenty years of it in fact. Married in '84.

My sister was planning to go to Oz travelling for a year with someone who she worked with. Met this someone a week before they went, took her out to the Ministry Of Sound a few days later (dont say i am not a romantic at heart), skived off football the day after, work the day after that and then she left for Oz with me sister for a year.
8 weeks later she was back, moved in with me and now we have been married for 5 1/2 months (and have 3 cats).
Ahhhhhhhhhhh.

Met a girlie at a cousin's wedding & started going out with her
Then she went off to India for a few months but before going held a party, to which I was invited.
There it transpired there was a new bf & as I really didn't know anyone else, spent time talking to this bird from Notts. She was down for a while in London but she was severely told to stay away from me as unreliable & managed to avoid me for 6 weeks, but eventually caved in
She went back to Notts & it was because I needed a bit of legal rep due to an RTA that way that I was able to contact her again. Over the next sort of year & a bit we saw each other a few times & eventually "got together". I think it took 4 years b4 we lived together, another 4 before we got married & now married for 7...

- worked for the same company; she owned a flat in London, near work, with an offstreet car park but didn't own a car. I owned a car and commuted to work, but no parking.
match made in heaven; 25 years ago last month (and wish we still owned that flat in London )

The current Mrs D was the new secretary and brew maker at our former employers. She likes to believe that she seduced me not long after she started there
6.5 years later, we're married, I've got 2 stepkids, She's got 2 stepcats, and we're all living stormily ever after

Met mine at work.
I felt sorry for her because of the amount of photocopying she had to do. At least until I realised she was at the copier to try and get my attention. She must have used up several trees. Not that I'm slow on the up-take or anything...
