I do agree, we live in a narrow minded world and the children would feel the brunt of it. This is unfair to the 'parents' and the children involved!

If a child got bullied at school because of this, they could always send round their two dads to sort it. Problem solved.

That said, the charity who house abandoned gay children with gay couples I think is a good idea.

The children are vetted by doctors and given regular councilling sessions.

The couples are vetted and have to fulfil certain criteria such as period living together, etc.

The children get parents that they can respect, rather than one that treats them like dirt, beat them or thrown the out on the streets!

Thats a different story. I'm just looking at the merits of homosexual parents.

FB, that is below the belt.

Tiggs is more vocal perhaps than others on this thread, but I don't think his replies deserve this.

Me plus a couple of others on this thread so yeah, our point E.g. More than just me?? Easy eh.

So its "bollocks" ok, so the kids won't get bullied and it'll all be fine. If you're going to be rude then so will I....."wake up".

Comments like what FB made I would tend to ignore and report to the Mods.

Senior_AP, he didn't actually profess to know it all, now did he?
With all due respect, I think your comment about him being arrogant is arrogant in itself. In fact, if someone knows someone closely who is gay, I'm sure you'd agree that they probably know more about being gay than someone who doesn't know anyone gay? You yourself don't have any kids, yet you profess to know what is best for them - isn't that arrogant as well?

Oh good, I disagree with SAP again

Reporting to mods is "gay" !

We are all adults here, we should be able to "self police" ?

lol... you cant report him. Its like reporting a bird for dumping on your car. Its not nice but they cant help.

Read his post....he's either lying or nuts!

There are many wicked things in the world....if he thinks having kids is one of them then let him (its Darwins theory at work!)

Be interesting what his lass makes of his attitude?

It was OTT and totally unnecessary. I think we all agree on that.

Reporting to mods is gay. lol. How apt.

Puh-leeze? I think Tiggs is made of much stronger stuff.

And anyway, aren't you one of the "let's have things as they used to be" brigade? Surely you don't approve of running off to teacher because the big boy said something bad? I mean, that sort of thing's ruining Britain, it's a bloody cesspool, no respect, were't like this when I were a lad etc etc

Haven't we done the whole homosexual parenting thing before??

Didn't we basically conclude that apart from the stigma of the situation, in terms of the kid's welfare at school or whatever, there wasn't a lot else to either recommend or discourage same-sex parenting (apart from believing those in favour of it were being "pc")? Or is there something new in the equation here?
