There youve got me; I know a lot about water cooled Porsches but not that much about Mitsubishi; I had wondered about the term 'Tiptronic' though as Porsche always included a copyright symbol in literature when it was introduced...

Yes alot of the component are shared with the V8 but its still a stand alone engine.

Im glad you clear that up about the ballencer shafts, i was just about to phone the police.
