OK ....Ugliest car of all time!!!

Never! There was plenty of stuff that was well-styled in the 70s, but the Pantera (all wings and bloated arches) wasn't one of them.
Think of the other cool cars of the era: Ferrari 246 Dino and 308 GTB, Lamborghini Countach (pre-wings and scoops), Aston Martin DBS V8, BMW 2002 and 635, Jaguar XJ6 Mk1, Datsun 240Z, Mazda RX3, Mk3 Cortina, Porsche Carrera, TVR S-series, droop-snoot Vauxhall Firenza, MBG GT, Alfa Spider and GTV...

Honourable mention must go to the Morgan Aero 8. A pity, because if they'd actually thought about the headlights, it would have been a gorgeous-looking car:
Thought I'd also get in the Mk2 (facelifted) Hyundai Coupe. Peter Stevens designed the first one, but for the facelift Hyundai thought they'd have a go at it themselves:

Carl just beat me to it....the Hyundai. I read that Mr Stevens says that he laughs everytime he sees one. Every angle is wrong and then they painted them kermit green.
Truely horrible.
How about the Vauxhall Tigra?
Zoton

I just love the way the sidelights seem to bear no relation to the headlights. They're not the same shape, not in the same horizontal plane, don't share any styling cues...
PS: Why "Zoton"? You a fan of lansoprazole or something?

Hmmmmmmmmmmm....................
William Towns.............do you think he only had a ruler in his pencil case??
I don't think he had a compass, or a French curve!!!!! LOL
On the Pantera........."All wings and bloated arches". True of the later and GTS models, but the original was quite nice.
"Americanised", but still very nice
A bit like what happened to the Countach..........
Gandini's original show car
The one on every teenage boys bedroom wall
I actually prefer the bewinged bohemoth, but I grew up with that style........on my bedroom wall!!!!! LOL

I was going to suggest the BL Princess/Ambassador but I reckon it's starting to pick up some of that 70's 'chic'
Drop in a rover v8 and hello laydies!!
so I'll go for the Multipla instead

I think Bristol need a special mention for never designing a good looking car.
http://www.allcarpictures.com/bristo...m-pictures.htm
Yes they are hand built to the highest standards but they use some old American lump of an engine, look like oversized Morris Marinas and cost a bloody fortune!
Only bought by wealthy eccentrics with bad eyesight.
