Sorry to hear about your car mate....the thieving tw*ts!!!!!
From the thread, it seems to me that there is a bit of a problem with security at Donnington.
How much does a ticket cost for Donny?? Not cheap me thinks.......I would have thought it was enough to cover decent security measures.
Reading this thread has certainly put me off taking my Scoob to Donnington for trackdays and the like!!!
Can't be too hard to have some sort of "barrier" at the exit of the car park, where you need a ticket, or pass (issued on the way in) to get out........can it???
Watching for cheap P1 bits!!!!
Marty

There have been numerous cars stolen from Donno. Why the hell don't the track increase security a bit. You get a unique ticket for the car and you can't leave without it or something similar.

The same happened at Ford Fair at Silverstone last year, 3 got stolen, not sure about Trax though, so everybody going to Trax this year, take extra precautions to secure your car as they could strike again

Steve, don't know you personally mate, but awful news, really sorry to hear about this. I have a standard UK Turbo and love that to bits, so loosing the king scooby must be heartbreaking!
Don't let it put you off them mate, to loose a car is sad, to loose your love for them is tragic! I really hope it is recovered without damage.
Best wishes,

Would everyone please keep eyes and ears peeled for anyone selling a P1 or P1 bits too cheap. (also Ebay & 'other' bbs')
The officials at Donnington suspect it may have been taken to the Birmingham area, but it could be anywhere and if broken up, everywhere really.
Reg is B3 SCF - P1 Plate number is 0377 (under bonnet nearside pillar)
Miniscoop over blitz Induction on offside

Sad, sad day.
This is probably the end of Scoobydom for us.

Sorry to hear the news.
Just to add To PTMW's story about the RB5.
I too was there on the day, but had left some time prior to the theft.
I believe the car was found locked, in a garage in Birmingham undamaged except for the roof lining which had been cut/ripped away presumably looking for a tracking device. The radio had been removed and several hundred cigarettes were in the boot!!!
The Police knew who had taken it due to photos taken during the day which showed certain individuals known to the Police.
I am sending you an E-mail of the photos for interest. It might be worth showing to the Police, as they used to like Subarus.
Whilst the Police were recovering it onto a low loader the thieves watched it and followed it to the compound.
They attempted to steal it back again that night from the Police compound, and were caught.
Hope you get it back.
Cheers

Just to say thanks again to all those that have posted, it has helped a lot. I never realised just how much owning and spending time and hard earned makes these cars get under your skin.
I have added some more details of the saleable bits on the car together with a picture.
A sizeable reward is also being offered for information leading to recovery or prosecution of the perpetrators, otherwise known as the arseholes who did this.

sorry to hear of your loss, i've had a few cars damaged but never nicked and this was bad enough.
I'm thinking of a bug eye and most insurance companies want a tracker fitting but reading stories like yours make me wonder why
what model tracker was yours? is there not some compensation available from the company?

I'd be interested what Trackstar are saying too. My friend had his Audi RS6 and BMW X5 stolen from his house (broke in for the keys) and the cars were found within the hour using the trackers installed in both cars. So what the **** are Trackstar doing about yours
.

Sorry to hear your bad news mate - hope it gets recovered soon.
Someone else mentioned going to Trax - be careful - the previous owner of my P1 had the wing literally yanked off the P1 at Trax a couple of years ago - these events are feeding grounds for car thieves - just be careful everyone...
