@ harryboy,

how's the 1Gig card going. dabs have no stock at the moment. I have heard that the TT Go is very picky about the SD cards and was wondering if you had any probs with it so far.

cheers

And have been looking around for the best deal.
Then i find one on Ebay, But the guy is selling it due to not working in a car with a heated front screen ????

Big Big topic here. Maybe find an answer? You're making me a little nervous seeing that I've ordered a 1GB card!

Chances are if its got the droop its a design fault on the mount. They originally intended to have one thumbwheel to tighten the mount up, so one side of the bracket has a moulded hex hole. When you tighten it all up it pulls the insert out into the hex hole cause its too big. Just put in a small washer each side, it fixes it fine.....

Still cant get camera and locations to work .......... doh.

Agreed. Will use washers on the new one. There's an idiots guide - no offence - on the Expansys forums http://www.expansys.com/forum.asp?code=TOMTOMGO&page=1

Popped into the shop this morning and got a new bracket, the new one is rock solid. Not sure if it's significant but the stalk that sticks to the windscreen is the other way up.

I've used some self adhesive velcro, rather than the mount, sits nice and tidy in the corner of the dash (new age), also i've some on the dash of my van, so its easy to swop over.

@andrewdelvard

mate i couldn't get the 1gig card to work so i just sent it back to dabs as faulty (incompatible with my systerm). i ordered a kingston 512 after recommendations on here and the expansys forums and everything seem to be ok. uk and MR of E along with a load of POIs went on no probs.

cheers

@austen wrx

If traffic warning is incorporated as POIs then yes it can. TT Go can give you a warning 276m(250yds) from the POI as long as they have been enabled on the TT.

Just thought I'd bring this back up to let anyone interested know, that I purchased an ATP 1GB memory card of ebay (great price) and it works perfectly.
For those concerned about certain compatabilty issues this card works 100%
