Ok Marty, but if the people from that religion read it and follow it because they feel they have to, then thats pretty bad of course. I suppose it all has to be down to basic education and hoping that they can see through it for what it is.

Big Joe, yes sometimes you have to be very positive to control a bad situation of course and it would be a mistake not to do so. Generally though, there are also times when you have to look at each side and try to work out the root of the problem. Ignoring that approach can make things considerably worse and also you have to be honest about it all and be prepared to make sacrifices on your own side for the common good. In the example you quote, the people on the other side of that wall want their own land back and their leaders can think of nothing else to do to get it. its a wrong way to carry on but what do you think would be the fairest solution?

Iraq and Afghanistan are now a clear example of what will happen if a state repeatedly causes trouble for the international community – but also countries like Libya can see the way the wind is blowing and change themselves before intervention becomes necessary, this can only be good thing – for the whole world – but has only come about because now these rouge states know the world isn’t bluffing any more.
So the UK and the USA represent the 'world', do they?
Iraq was not a threat and that has been proven but you continue with the same line.
US foreign policy time and time again has been to work for self interest, not for the good of the international community - just look at Venezuela recently. They deny people a voice in their own countries by supporting (and installing) any government that tows their line. Then when some of these disaffected people take to extreme measures you say, Oh..we only want a free and fair world...look at these terrorists/rogue states causing trouble for the international community....lets go bomb them.

And remember, this whole episode with Bin Laden started over keeping American troops stationed in Saudi Arabia.

I think we've passed the point of no return and now it has become impossible to return to route of many of these problems (Palestine etc) - that doesn't mean a solution isn't possible though. I wasn’t passing comment on the right/wrongs of the wall BTW - just stating that it seems to fulfill it's intended purpose.

I was going to post a list of all the countries that we're involved in the liberation of Iraq, all the countries that are involved with negotiation with North Korea, Iran and Libya, all the African countries that are trying to resolve the problems with Zimbabwe and the Sedan - but I can't be bothered - you'd probably still say it's an American conspiracy to control the world, in kind of comical Dr Evil way..............

Sorry, did I say anything about conspiracies? Is that the best you can do? Dr Evil??? Again you fail to answer any points.

Negotiation with a government and invading and installing your own government are not the same thing! Why don't you list all those countries that helped 'liberate' Iraq? The great coalition of the $ willing. So eager are some to benefit from Bush's $ war on terrorism they're even staging their own terrorist plots by shooting migrant workers - click here.
