Spotted a black WRX in Tesco's car park in Atherton yesterday (Sunday) just before closing time. (OK, that would be two if I include mine.)
Also saw another black one parked opposite me at the Trafford centre on Saturday afternoon. Common as muck these black ones.

That was probably me, around about half 3 ish. Didn't see any other scoobs though! (probably as I was concentrating on what beer to get to see the mighty reds get beat by the rear gunners)

[quote=R34_GT-t]:Revives thread with a spray of fairy dust: Oo er... *ahem*.

May be up for a meet... although I'll be a celica loner sadly.

I'd probably be in the merc myself so I will be the slug of you all with my amazing 143bhp carrying the weight of a battleship. As for the R plate scoob for sale it is a sport belonging to a young lad from a few streets away from here.
I gave him the wheels as he was ultra polite when I came across him. Soft at heart and brain matter you see.

P.S. I had another set to put on my own car.

As regards the meet preferances to Leigh Tyldesley or Atherton.

Suggestions please.

Well, lets see;
Atherton- how about next Wednesday's quiz night? The chance of winning a prize and also FREE SCOOBY SNACKS!
weekend nights are usually fairly quite, with very little eye candy.

Leigh- There's a live band in the Waterside inn on a Thursday, I usually go. Not too loud that you can't have a conversation. Of course, not forgetting the big well lit car park to show off your pride and joy.
Or how about a weekend night, plenty of eye candy.

Tyldesley- been there, a couple of times with my workmates, can't say I was particularly impressed when my car got vandalised.

So my vote is either Atherton or Leigh, not fussed as to what day.

The Wednesday night sounds okay for me. Thursday seems okay as well. Agree with comments about Tyldesley-and I live here. Where's the quiz night?

Rescued this thread from half way down on page 2. So I thought I'd bring it back to the top of page 1.

Quiz night in Old Isaacs every Wednesday. We should have went last night, I could have guarantee'd a win, as I made up the questions.
Anybody care to try their hand at answering them?

I saw that one last week heading into thepetrol station on the lancs at the greyhound roundabout. Young lad and he waved back, sounded good too.

So I gave it some loud pedal up the lancs so he could hear sweet music as he filled up

Complete *********. I tried to get one off the other day but he got onto the pavement in time. Had hours of them up and down the street going onto the old railway lines. Should ban noisey exhausts .

Immaculately clean silver newage blogeye sti spotted today on wigan road leigh.
Looked a stunner, gold 18" wheels and cruising at 30!
Nice car!

Also a blue classic, not the wrc blue but the deeper shade of blue, not sure of the name, also spotted giving it some of the loud pedal.

my scoob is brown at the moment due to all the dirt and dust on it. It also has a nice water leak which I need to look at today. Bugger, more expense

I've not submitted any questions for this weeks quiz, so that makes me eligible to enter. I'll be there as soon as "The Bill" finishes.
If anybody's coming, I'll be the wee guy with the grey motorcyle jacket.

Also, my wife is expecting any day now so I wont be drinking just in case I have to race off to hospital with her.

As you've not posted for the last week, I presume your wife has given birth. If this is the case I hope all is well and congratulations are in order. (original message from calorgaz}
