Have to drive fast so they don't syphon your petrol in Hindley
Whats this about a Volvo?

Speaking of speed camera's, the cops don't hang around the bypass (Which is now 30 zone with mini roundabout).... on Atherleigh way do they?

I sped off down there today (Only to about 60 though) from the lights, as there was some bloke in one of those small Merc convertibles trying to get past me by using the right lane at the lights, near Pennington flash. It was at the part where you can turn left onto the road which goes to Lowton... but I carried straight on. I didn't see any cops with the guns down there... but it's probably me just being paranoid. I'm sure they have speed camera signs down there though.

Does anybody have a dark blue classic turbo with clear front indicators and GB plates? There was one about two cars back from me today, but I don't think it's any of you.

Can't say I've seen any on there. Will only be a matter of time if that limit stays at 30 though. Only cameras on the entire road I can think of are the red light cameras near Asda.

Be careful if you go down Pottery Road in Wigan, the coppers have started putting camera traps down the far end again, either at the petrol station as you come round the corner from the Pier or across the road from the ambulance station in the gateway of that new place.

They just wave at me though

I've never managed to get to 30 around there due to the volume of the traffic. Could I use your siren and flashing lights next time I'm there.

Alls well then. I should imagine they will have a fixed camera down there sometime... as it's so tempting to go over 30 (Seeming as though it's only just changed).

Think I had Gabster WRX behind me yesterday?

Keep your eyes peeled for two **** in a white van with the passenger hanging out the window with an air horn.

Parked my car up tonight on the front.... and just as I walked around the back end of it, they drove past and blew the air horn (One of those hand things) right next to me. Still a bit deaf in one ear now... *******!!

Had mine in the local dealer near work today. The engine warning light came on on the way to the office this morning so I thought I'd better check it out. Turned out to be a warning from the cam angle sensor (whatever the hell that does), but it was working fine. They have reset the fault and told me to keep an eye on it. It may be a faulty sensor as the engine is working fine.

Only problem was leaving the showroom without signing up for a new STi or a nice little Lotus Elise

Was it a classic, or a bugeye? There is a silver classic knocking around with black subaru decals and a turbo bonnet... and it's a Sport.

Think there is a silver with black subaru graphics bugeye knocking around... think that is a 2.0 GX, as I had a little pop against it on the Lancs and whupped his ***... although then again could be a WRX. Easy bait.

Jaytc, was you about on St Helens road today?

I think I spotted you. I was parked on my mates drive - Think his brothers bright purply/blue Supra was parked on the road when you went past.

I'd blown all of the baffling out of my Kakimoto backbox. Pulling out of a junction yesterday... and hit some diesel with my foot to the floor. The car hit the limiter about 3 times, then two big flames and bangs came from the back... and it cut out. It did fire up again within a split second... so further down the road I pulled in to check. The flames had caused the backbox baffling to collapse inside and completely blocked the exhaust. I had my arm shoved up the backbox pulling out all the fibreglass baffling and cutting my hand to buggery.

Also for some reason, it split the top radiator hose... and pissed antifreeze everywhere.

Today I was round my mates getting the rest of the ****e out of the exhaust. Now it has no baffling at all in the backbox... and it sounds like it's blowing excessively when stationary - but sounds nice when driving, if a LOT to loud.

Mmm.... was pretty bad. I had to try and repair the top hose just to get me home, but luckely I had spare water in the boot which I always keep for just such emergencies.

I have repaired the top hose now, and it appears fine... but the backbox sounds ****e. I'm going to see if I can do anything with it tomorrow... but it's looking like I'll need to fork out for a new backbox which will probably set me back about £350 for a Blitz Nur spec or HKS. I'm really pissed off though now, as that exhaust was ideal for the car. I may try and stick a metal sleeve in the middle of the backbox... as the gases are going into the backbox at a fast rate... slowing down due to the sudden increase in space... and then there is a conflict of gases hence the **** sound and now **** performance. I'm thinking if I can shove a metal sleeve down the middle (Pretty similar to what it was like before), it should help.

[quote=R34_GT-t]Mmm.... was pretty bad.

Hope you manage to sort things out tomorrow without spending £300+

Took mine to Halifax today and it ran like ****. Slipped out of 5th gear again at around 80 but also struggled to accelerate when in 4th or 5th gear. Took about 3 to 5 seconds for it to respond when the accelerator was pressed. Felt like I was riding the clutch which I wasn't.

Angry Idiot in green wrx

on manchester road (I think - just before the cart and horses after the speed camera), I was doing a steady 35 - 40 last night (naughty I know but it was about half 11 at night) and I had this car sat on my **** (bearing in mind it was icy). Anyway just after the camera he pulls out and overtakes absolutely flooring it, as he approached the bend his car was wobbling all over the place. My advice to you mr mcdonalds car park frequenter (yes saw you there the other day with your 15yr old missus) is to get your car fixed as obviously there is something wrong with your suspension for the car to be getting that out of shape, oh no, just realised your a dick and you have no control whatsoever.

When you write it off (and you will write it off soon I can assure you) can I have first dibs on your turbo. Hopefully though when you do write it off, you dont involve any other cars as my insurance is already enough as it is.

Wasnt it a green wrx that hit another car in leigh a few weeks back and drove off?
