Anyway just after the camera he pulls out and overtakes absolutely flooring it, as he approached the bend his car was wobbling all over the place. My advice to you mr mcdonalds car park frequenter (yes saw you there the other day with your 15yr old missus) is to get your car fixed as obviously there is something wrong with your suspension for the car to be getting that out of shape, oh no, just realised your a dick and you have no control whatsoever.
When you write it off (and you will write it off soon I can assure you) can I have first dibs on your turbo. Hopefully though when you do write it off, you dont involve any other cars as my insurance is already enough as it is.
Wasnt it a green wrx that hit another car in leigh a few weeks back and drove off?

Don't think you'd want the dibs on his turbo though... as the bearings are probably all ****ed from over boosting, and oil starvation.
Does anybody know if the police hang around with gatso camera's on the Lancs? I was doing about a ton down there at around 3am this morning (Not a good speed there, but it was empty). It was the part going towards Manchester way from St Helens.... before you turn left off the Lancs ,and go down the Bypass which brings you to Atherleigh way. When the police are there with the hand guns... would they have a van parked up nearby, or could they be hid in the bushes at the side? Also just out of interest, does anybody know if the police hand camera's flash at you... or do they just record the speed without doing so? Do the hand camera's work in the dark too? I've never had a speeding ticket... but I'm just intrigued. I'm a bit thick when it comes to any camera's other than the traffic light one's... and stationary one's.
Chrisstone, is your scoob a bug eye in blue... with a plate ending in EFC?

the cameras dont flash. Be really surprised to see a cop in a bush (on duty anyway) at 3am in the morning in icy conditions. They will be in the nice warm station with their kebab and coffee

No cameras on there. AFAIK laser doesn't work at night, and radar isn't very common anymore, so it'd have to be VASCAR (works out your average speed over a pre-set distance), and there's no where to hide a police car there. And only a fixed camera or a mobile camera van will send you a fine in the post, a cop with a gun will pull you over and give you the ticket

[quote=AndiThompson]Aren't we paranoid
Us turbo drivers have to be due to the extra power that we have over the sport population
Joking apart your last post has been useful. Maybe we can be less paranoid now that we know what we are up against. Thanks Sport (sorry Andi)
And wash your car. Its a disgrace to Subaru.

Christone's car spotted last night on the forecourt looking clean as usual. Im sure most of the scoob drivers around this area hardly use their cars, its impossible to keep them that clean. Judging by AndiT pics even he has seen the errors of his ways and now uses his car

They're supposed to drop the turbo 20-30mm, but the sport sits higher, so its quite a noticable amount compared to what it was before.
Got the fronts on yesterday ok, but ran out of light, did the rears today (in the bloody rain ) but somethings done wrong, and its knocking a lot, so I'll have to investigate tommorrow, and try and get the alignment sorted. Hard work, and has taken me a few days, but I'm working mostly alone, and I've never done anything like it before.
Tyldesley tyres want £20 to do all the alignment to whatever settings I give them, bit cheaper than Prosport's £80! Not sure what kind of job they'll do though

Springs were from ESP design..
Eibach suspension lowering springs for Subaru Impreza (Classic) - Buy now - Fast UK Delivery - ESP Design
Saw them in advertised in Jap Performance, and its a fair bit cheaper than other places. Odd though, they say they're reduced to clear stock from their warehouse, yet they came straight from Eibach
Don't know how much stiffer they are, but they're progressive, so ride shouldn't be too bad, and as you push harder, they get stiffer. Prodrive fit Eibachs so it'll do for me
