heh, want to get one for mine... but would probably go for a Blitz supersound as they sound fab, plus they are loud.

DV was fitted on car when we bought it but I would not be without it . The sound is part of the fun. Whats this about the sheepdog. Getting worrying.

lol, sheepdog blow off valves sound the best imo. They make a kind of chattering noise, and I'm pretty sure they are a favourite with the GTi-R owners.

Right people serious note here. Carjacking happoned last night Thursday 14th at (Tesco Atherton) Guy turned up in his SUBARU IMPREZA TURBO 4 guys in balaclavas in a ASTRA VXR pulled up at the side of him 2 got out and then dragged him out of his car and took it and shot off,hope the feller who it is,is ok. The Police took him away for an interview. Hope its nobody on here if it is sorry pal. Everyone else be carefull. Chris.

cheers for that Chris, I go there all the time (for fuel of the beer variety and also for tescos finest 99ron) will keep my eyes open. Happening a bit at the moment, there was a case nr St Helens on another thread that was at gunpoint.

Am supposed to be looking at new houses in atherton tomorrow just off bag lane. Luckily it has a garage though.

Funny you should say that, as a very suspicious scoob has been parked next to my neighbours house where I sometimes park mine in a day. It's a blue GX or sport, on a 53 plate (The shape after the bugeye, but before the new one). It's in blue with a prodrive rear spoiler on... and has a picture of scooby doo on the back, and has a couple of prodrive graphics on it. The plate is LT53 EFV. Very suspicious, as it wasn't there last night... and it was parked there this morning when I got up for work at 7am... and is still there now and hasn't moved.

Haven't tried to see if any doors are locked on it (ie: been broken into)... but the drivers side is against the side of the wall. Just wondering if it's also been stolen and parked there to see if it has a tracker.

Gonna post up a topic on here to see if anybody has had there's took.

i live close to leigh u will probab;y seen mine out and about its an03 Sti with ROO in the reg, a bit paranoid about being in leigh as mine was found there aftr it was stolen back in July. Still pretty new to all the Fuss with having a Subaru lrt me know where u all meet and when it would be nice to meet others who are as passionate about there cars as i am, as my family think i was stupid for having t back after the raid/theft

Yer i noticed that elliot on my way to work???might be worth reporting it, i only this info about the carjacking because on of my collegues came and said you should be carefull when your leaving.Mines been parked there all day today and nobody has bothered with it, just have to see what happons with the case now.

Hmm... am definitely thinking of reporting it. I parked mine behind it today (Probably a stupid thing to do if it is dodgy, but hey!)... and nobody's touched mine as far as I know.

Did however have another small look over the GX, and looks like it's got chrome valve caps. Anybody guess how long they will be there for, seeming as though I saw four chavs coming from down the side yesterday.

I wonder who's scoob was taken then from Tesco?

Had a look at that GX before, looks like a decent one. Very odd if it's just been left there and not moved. I'd try knocking on a few doors, maybe someones bought it and not sorted insurance etc out yet, then report it for sure.

That scoob at the side of your house was stollen it was recovered by the police about 10.30 on saturday night, they came with a tow truck and took it away.

Did I spot you yesterday Chris, at the bottom of Hamilton street? I think you was turning left towards Leigh, and I was tuning into Hamilton street. I thought that the headlights looked like the shape of bug eye one's... but didn't notice till I'd looked in the mirror.

Yeah, I heared about that on another thread. There was also one hijacked at the Tesco in Atherton - Manchester.

Think I know which one you mean. See it quite regular driving past the garage where I work in St Helens. Do know the car, so will keep a look out up and around there.

It doesn't have the turbo bonnet though does it?

no it doesnt have a turbo bonnet.
he only lives round the block from middlehurst.
the insurance well batter him now as well so he'll be well sick as he loves his cars.

apparently the reason is because the sports model go slower than the turbo so it allows people to be followed!!





In all seriousness though, it is awful all of this happening, if it happened to me (no one would take my wreck anyway) I wouldnt want my car back (would put back to standard, keep the goodies and get another).

I actually think someone has tried breaking in on mine as the drivers door no longer sits flush against the rest of the bodywork when closed. I noticed it on monday night and someone at work pointed it out to me yesterday. Will maybe try to bend it back on friday when I finish work. Will be glad to move house (touch wood) as it has a garage

Think I was knocking about there about that time yeah. Mines got HIDs in the headlights.
