Cant belive what am hearing about the car jackings, good peace of advise though carry a can of de-icer with you,if somebody does try and get in your car blast them in the face with it you'll blind them litrally for about 10 mins then its painfull for a bit afterwards they will survive and the police cant say anything because you were using it in self defence. Also while they are blinded tie a rope around there feet attach them to towing hook at the back of your car and see how far you can drag them before anybody notices that you have a THEVING SCROWT atached to the back of your car.Bet they wont do it again in a hurry.

never saw Andy10 when I lived around the corner and now I am in atherton dont think I ever will!!

Had a laugh the other day, some clown in a rs turbo cabriolet shot up my rear end (this is on the long road from the east lancs that goes past halfords, asda and towards gadbury fold etc) then kept dropping back and shooting back up again. I just stuck to 40 laughing with the mrs. He didnt try to pass though as I would have put it in to 2nd and smoked him!

There was a nice porsche carrera on the same stretch earlier going in the opposite direction but I dont think I would have stood a chance with that one

Been working in Exeter since January but back to my hard earned retirement now. Car is fine although i've been stuck in the primera whilst down south. Good to be back in sunny Tyldesley. (Never thought i would say that).
Hows the new house, married life and the dog jay? And you (forgot about you)

house is fine, lot bigger than what we had and on 3 floors as well so lost a bit of weight as well. Married life is well married life, you know the score, dog is still a little b!tch at times especially with her biting she just doesnt seem to learn (unless I put the electric dog collar on her and zap her.)

You not sold up yet then?

House is completed and valued. Just needs the for sale sign up now. Buying houses up there is a bit long winded but we are planning on buying a few so that we can renovate them at our leisure. I don't mix well with working so they may take sometime to be completed.

Electrical testing down in Exeter on large site. Property in the Highlands and the islands off Scotland are so cheap compared to what they are around here so we will make a good return on the renovations. E.G. 2 bedroomed cottage. 1 acre of land with sea view £39000. Not bad when you cant buy a 2 bed terrace around here for less than £80000.

gonna try and get myself a big brake upgrade done today. Pads are a bit thin (as told by my mot tester) and the discs have a bit of a lip on them. Then all I need to do is fix my power steering leak (After locating it) and finding my log book so the car can go through the mot as a decat!!

I prefer the missus price

Not too bad actually though, usually about £500 more than that.

Prodrive/Alcon brakes are spot on

Until you need some more discs or pads

I managed to get some calipers & nearly new pads from a breakers for £175

Part worn discs £60 and I got 8 months out of them so not bad

Just get a set of Prodrive discs in good nick for £170 off ebay

Just need some pads now shame they are £120 a set

You can tell the difference between Alcons and normal 4 pots!!

I cant compare to the normal 4 pots but compared to the standard 2 pots its just unreal. I used to have a sunny gtir many many years ago and got tarox 6 pot brakes fitted to that but these 4 pots are in a different league to them.
Just a slight touch on the pedal and the car just comes to a halt rapidly. I am scared of testing them by trying to press all of the way down as I think I would probably split the rubber hoses!! (got the braided items coming today)

The car is just so much quicker because of it as you can brake far later knowing you will slow down.
(may get some caliper paint and become a tart)
