I'm not keen on the Chucky films either. Nor anything to do with dolls or puppets

Watched Clockwork Orange at school when it was banned - one fcuked up film - not too bad tho
Meat hooks on Texas chainsaw aint too pleasant..but not scary
Dude on the fire escape ladder on one of the Final Destinations copped it in a nasty way, not too clever like

But on the whole nothings ever screwed my head up.. film wise

..Now if someone made a film on what goes on in my head and mind, that would really really **** some people up...good and proper

Ive watched most and have not been bothered by them but has anybody ever had a sound do something to em. I remember watching american history X and when the guy puts his face on the curb and then Edward norton jumps on his face, OMG the sound. Made me feel ill

As mentioned before, IT (not ET ) was fairly disturbing and also The Omen.

Having a Christian upbringing meant that The Omen challenged my beliefs - by having a Christian belief you must therefore believe in the Anti-Christ - and the fact that the film was based on details that I could identify with scared the **** out of me.

I now have a fear of lifts and grafitti as well

Seeing Robocop as a kid. The scene when they shoot him particularly where they shoot his hand off. I remember it being really shocking at the time and have never watched it since. I am not one for needless violence on screen it has to be said and this is probably why!

As a kid, the scene in the first Jaws film where the severed head appears in the sunken wreckage terrified me more than once.

Agree with the noise out of A H X, just thinking of it makes me feel sick (and get tooth ache).

I remember watching Jaws with my little brother when we were kids. He didnt seem too bothered when people were munched but was quite upset when the little dog was eaten!

Only film I have ever found disturbing is "Threads". Was first shown by the BBC in the 80's and then never shown again. If you watch it, you will see why....

Saw The Howling when I was about 9, then had a holiday in a small chalet in the woods about a week later, not good!

Agree with comments about Robocop, saw that age about 10. That old factory is not a place I'd visit in a hurry

Nearly forgot, the series Day of The Triffids when I was a kid was pretty freaky. Walking plants that kill people were a bit difficult to understand back then

lol, had forgoten about day of the trifids, certainly a nasty series to watch when ur a kid.

Also when ever I go swiming in the sea, I get so far out then jaws pops into my head and end up having mental fight with myself about swiming back in and not being so bloody stupid and staying out there.

I remember watching Children of the Corn as a kid, and then going on a walk past a cornfield at night with my cousin. We got pretty freaked out!

Also, Candyman - who as a kid dared to say Candyman 5 times into the mirror?

Irrational fear is not a thing that affects me any more though.
