And..don't laugh, but the bit in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang where the Child catcher is trying to lure the kids shouting, " Lollipops". This was when I was a kid, of course.

I'd have to agree on Irreversible being a touch disturbing!!!!
The "fire extinguisher" scene made me wince a bit (but I did rewind it and watch again to be sure!!)
"Videodrome" with James Woods is kinda weird/disturbing,
but then.....so are most films involving
"David "Deprave" Cronenberg, also known as the King of Venereal Horror"
There was a programme on TV a couple of weeks ago and it was looking at the "Gore" genre. Some pretty f**ked up stuff on there!!!!
"Cannibal Ferox" anyone????
Oh yeah...forgot this one!! PHANTASM.....scared the sh*t out of me when I was young!!!

If so, then I have a permanent imprint of a piece of footage showing the murder of two british soldiers who made a wrong turn during a funeral in Northern Ireland. They were surrounded, and dragged from their car by a mob of mourners, then they were beaten to a pulp and dragged/dropped over walls and barbed wire fences.
Later I believe they were shot in the head.
There was a black cab involved, that sticks in my head but I dont know why.
The footage was shot by a military helicopter, very disturbing.
Ive seen similar/worse scenes since then I think we all have, but they havent had the same effect, maybe it was my age at the time.
