Each to their own I say - who is to say a car is ugly. If well all had the same taste we'd all be driving the same car and have nothing to talk about. Would make a rather boring Members Gallery!!
I actaully on a UK300 which I would consider to be the nicest looking bug-eye and this is been mentioned many times. I was coming out of weston wheels the other day and overheard somesone say "that's the nicesst looking scooby ive seen" so I wouldnt say it was that ugly.
But like any car, add a few mods and make it your own and you can make any car look half decent.
Is this really that ugly? . . .

>I like the way owners have posted pics of their bugs eyes....post op!
Tis true, the WRX headlights were a mistake and I'm no fan of Morettes, the STi lights should have been standard.
Didn't you buy one then sell it sharpish for an old porker? That must have cost you a bit. Although I do seem to remember some storys by you of a good time at the ring in the ugly young thing.

I bought this up a few months ago.
Its a bit odd, but I actually like the look of the prodrive kit STi's now though some of that is because they must be the rarest shape scooby on the road and they do stand out.
Hated them when the came out, but part of that was the shock.

I had some great times on track and at the ring with it.......it was just not fast enough or offered anything like decent feedback.

I used to hate the "Bug Eye" styling. I thought when they first came out "What the hell have Subaru done" now its my favourite of the three and I own one! I guess it just grew on me! I think its aged very well indeed. The other plus is that there's not loads of them going around unlike the classic.

All the Chavs round our way are buying up the cheap classics...all the blobeye owners have too much cash and are too stuck up their own ***** to wave back.
I'll stick to my bug. thank you...until I have the money for an Evo
Ps. Wheels may not be std but the headlights are

WRX Rich - yours looks great!
I'm not generally a fan of bugeye version.
The new new model STi is fantastic looking, next comes the P1 and then the 'real classic' the 97-98 MY (in faded red with battle scars on every corner - I've got a picture of one somewhere... )

That was my Impreza before the Bugeye, it was a great car but was soooo shagged at the end of the 3 years, inside, outside and engine. R64* X*X my apologies to the new owner.
