no problem

That was the same addy as i sent it too, but like you say, hotmail doesnt appear to like it!!

It was just a mail about my plans and if you had any thoughts...

Here it is

*****
Thanks for your response Shaun, ill give you the lowdown of what im doing, the reason i contacted you is that i know that yours is a daily driver so ultimately it should be reliable...

Ok, basic car is WRX03

(These are all "to be fitted")
APS SR30 Turbo
STI Intercooler
TSL Group A downpipe
H&S Up pipe
Knocklink

Already have:

H&S center
Original Scoobysport BB
Turbo Samcos
Coolant Samcos
Ancillary Samcos

Then tek 3.

The turbo is easily capable of ripping the car apart with torque but i know that the gearbox isnt up to it, so i will be limiting torque to around 300-310lbft. I think the turbo can produce well over 400 if needed.

In terms of BHP, i was just aiming for a shade over 300, so between 300 and 310 again. I already have a green panel filter and have had for quite a while so were ok there )

I was actually put off a little bit by front mounts due to the extra lag it creates so would be interested to hear your reasoning behind why your going that route? I was going to get a frontmount but have decided not too (at least for now....while its my daily driver ) )

Any thoughts?

******

Although now it looks like i would be wise to get a 3 port solenoid...jyst need to find one cheap!! any ideas?? good breakers?

NICE.............

Don't forget the plugs and oil to cope ..

Now, this is where the mapper would be more help than me. The bugeye WRX injectors are maxing out at 320+ BHP but AFAIK OK as long as the fuel pump can cope.

This is the change over point between keeping the OEM stuff and upgrading. I'd look for a cheap FSE fuel pump and Reg. AS Performance had a group buy recently and may have some spare.

STi TMIC seems pretty well respected despite being an OEM item

Sorry to mention headers but they can be looked on as a "free lunch"..ish, particularly porting and wrapping the the OEM ones.

Who's mapping ??

Cheers

Shaun

I went for a set of powerstation headers instead of the uppipe ( well they include the up pipe ) - works out to be a small charge for 25 lb ft but if your turbos doing what you say no need
