As mentioned above, Moyles is better suited to the afternoon, I do still like him though I don't get to listen to him much now, don't put the radio on till I get in the car, then at work we've had Radio 2 on in protest since Mark and Lard were shown the door
What gets me with Radio1 is the playlist, they can only have about 10 different records per day! They have at least 2 or 3 records they play every 2 hours, it's just pants!
We listen to Steve Wright, I find he can be annoying too, like on the big quiz, just ask the questions ffs, do the crap jokes afterwards and what's with the reckoning on to not know about stuff?

Moyles can be well funny - he does make me laugh pretty often - and I love his pis$ takes out of Rachels accent!! Also well funny when Alid's on and theyre dropping big hints that hes gay and stuff! (which he clearly is!)

Chris M is a proper ****. He thinks he's hard, but the truth is 1 min of hard exercise and he would pass out. He's rude, loves himself, and really gets on my nerves. Galaxy 106.4 for me, or Tfm 96.6, or metro 97.1. all fm.

I think Chris Moyles is excellent, i listen to him, Dave, and the gang and love CAR PARK CATCHPHRASE but would not want to be a contestant, as someone said just laugh with the show.

I went to school with Geoff (aka Pete & Geoff). What a complete ginger, born-again-Christian nobber.
Moyles is a **** too, all that pretending to like footie laddish stuff. Up his own ****.
I'll stick with Terry.

I find the last thing I want in the morning is annoying voices going on and on. I just want some music to pick me up a bit, hence I flit from channel to channel filtering out all the DJ twaddle and I arrive at work in a better mood for it!

Forced to listen to Moyles again this morning.
Repetative, repetative, repetative. Oh, did I mention repetative?????
The LAST thing you want FIRST thing is that fat ****.

Move to Essex* - Martin Day and Sue Harrison are hilarious.
* - bit of an extreme measure, granted. Avoid Pitsea, Grays and Basildon. Oh, and Vange. Especially Vange.

I must admit I mourn the passing of Chris Evans, both on R1 and Virgin - he had a very good breakfast show, which generally was always funny.
I'm not saying I liked him as a person, but for sheer entertainment for the morning 45min grind to work he was king.......the king is dead, long live the king.
There is no funny alternative now, so I've switched to the more cerebral listening of the Today Programme on Radio 4 (which has some quality radio entertainment!)
god!! I'm turning onto my dad!!

All I want is some music to listen to on my short trip to work.
NOT to have to listen to some anoying DJ or terrible double glazing adverts.
Why do most DJ's think it is funny to act like 12 year olds
Maybe I am just getting old, but never found them funny when I was that age.

Think its a Northern thing IMO. moylesy is very funny but find the more south u get the more ignorant people are to his open comedy-ness.... does that make sence? I find northerners more happily to take a joke and take something less seriously where as the southerners just get pi55ed off with it.
Although Sara *** was anoying, a proper lanacashire bird Mark and Lard and Northerner who was superb in the mornings, shire horses days but after a while the afternoon show just got very cr@p

I agree, it's certainly a different sense of humour. I find Peter Kay "not funny" in his stand up but quite like the John Smiths adverts.
Southerners are a bit more classy it seems.

I'm only just South. I'd say Southerners are slightly more up themselves (Londoners are ***** full stop).
Northerners are a bit brash and unnecessary.
Good and bad on both sides I suppose.
Chris Moyles is still a Northern **** though.
