I'm going through the "my a$$ is hurting" phase at the moment - buttock muscles have been used for lazing about, not for exercise!).
Realistically, I can't bike to work, as with dropping kids off for childcare, it's impossible to get to work on time. However, I'm going to use it in combination with the train, as at either end of the journey, there's some killer hills
My problem is still the diet - I can't eat fruit and veg (not a physical condition, unless you count wreching(sp?), but a physcological one - the texture and smell of veg makes me heave)
I've got round it by eating lots of my mum's home-made veg soup (seriously liquidised though!!!)
I get round the fruit issue, by drinking alot of fruit juice.
Brekky - brown toast and a cuppa tea (1 sugar - reduced from 2, and am aiming for NONE)
Mid-morning - flavoured water
Lunch - French bread sandwich with chicken or tuna (no mayo or butter)
Dinner - normal meal that can be anything
Supper - snack such as toast, low-fat crisps
All suplemented with a dog walk and 30 bike ride (when I can't take the bike to work)
I'm currently about 14 stone. Height 5'10 38" stomach 45" chest. Quite happy with my Upper body and weight, but TBH, could do with losing a few inches of the stomach.
