Put me down as organizer as well m8, and give the police my details if neccessary, you know my moby number, and my reg is S555 TBO.
See you next saturday, for the BBO

WOA boys easy on the regy front imagine how many criminal elements have now got your car registration numbers and could be cloning them as we talk especially with car details to match. DOH.
Maybe a PM to Frank with details might be better.
Frank what about the idea of non scoobynet members just having the stickers and the subaru drivers being allowed in in anycase.

imagine how many people see our cars every day of the week, with our reg plates on full view, unless you cover them up, and drive around with a car cover on too

I know sub, it was a slight tongue in cheek reply to your post, hence the smiley face
I personally dont bother covering up my plates in pics, as far far more people see my car whilst im driving round than ever would do on this forum

I didnt want you guys to go posting your details....
i think the sticker idea is a good one.....if the people who can sort this can pm me, then maybe we can have a word about how to go about it.
i think stickers should be distributed as far as possible at the meet points, as getting round everyone at Blackpool will be a nitemare.. maybe we give the sticker with the donation...??? please share your thoughts on the best but least imposing way of doing this.
As for the charity donation bit....... if i get a bucket, and cover the top, then maybe i can walk round and see everyone, or form an orderly queue .....any1 got any ideas???
also, we could do with a marshall or two, preferably someone from the Blackpool area who can be there early..if anyone can/ would like help out with this if could you drop me a pm ..pretty much so we can try to keep all the scoobs together from their respective meet areas.
cw42 were did you get your big 'smacs' banner from??? and how much??
So, its all coming together now..
regards
Frank

Ive had one email with a provisional design, but not heard anything back since
As far as distributing them, at the meet points would be good, the largest being Charnock Richard, prior to Halfords
The Charity donation bit sounds fine with a bucket

Charity Info...
Dear All,
as you know this event is for charity,
In order to boost the potential, i have put an envelope in work at reception, so if anyone here at work wants to make a donation they can do...... maybe others may be able to do similar at their places of work.
Every Little Helps...!!
I have also contacted Radio City, yesterday via their DJ, Kev Seed, and he has put me in contact with the co-ordinators of the charity.... they inturn contacted me, and are well pleased by our efforts. Once they recieve our funds, they will provide us with a reciept, and they will probably give us a mention on air.

Just to let you all know that the stickers, have gone to print...and all being well, i should have them thursday or friday.
They look brilliant.......
These have been donated to the casue, and it was suggested by a couple of people that we should only issue these with any donations made ,....
i am proposing to start donation collecting at each of the meet points that i get too.. if every one is happy with that, it will minimise the collection time at Blackpool.
As also mentioned, i have begun a collection here at work, which will also be getting put into the pot.. So the potential looks great. Maybe others can try same at their place of work.
Frank
ps, how do you post an image link??

Point to note that there are also collection points for the lights when entering the Mile. You will need to keep some money for that also, which goes towards funding the lights themselves.

Frank, you type at the beginning and end of each pic, but you need to have your used CP settings to allow images, instead of links

Charity info...
The company i work for (TTE Training Ltd) we have an annual safety league. The winners get to nominate a charity to donate some money too. This years money was never nominated. After i emailed around to see if anybody wanted to make a donation, it was suggested that the money should be made available and added to our total.
So the good news is that, our company have agreed to give in the region of £600 to 'Give a child a chance', as the result of our efforts, on top of what we can make, this is excellent news.
