The funny thing is that so far I have not seen an ex works wrc from prodrive keep the works graphics.

Here is an ex-solberg 2003 car driven/owned by a friend I see occasionally.

Why have the rally cars graphics? It only makes the car look something it's not. Do you want a fake Rolex to go with it?

That's Mike Oates' car. Saw him driving the promenade stages rally, I was marshalling on the hairpin bend. It's nice seeing this car in action, I like the graphics as they're a bit more unusual than most you see. Shame he couldn't fight off the 6R4's though!

yep it certainly is. I think he left the 'My other car is an Enzo Ferrari' sticker off the back window!

I was doing Arrival control on the same event, so you were right at the other end at the furthest point of the stage to where I was standing!

Was that the one he had with reg M1 OAT or something like that? I remember seeing it long time ago for sale (by the person or two after Mike) on rallycarsforsale.net

Mike in general gets the latest ex-works car prodrive sell as a customer WRC. So you will find he gets the latest one of like every 6-10 months. Last year his WRC Impreza on the promenade rally was bright yellow jigsaw bug eye, but in yellow.

His first Subaru was J314 PWL of Colins 92 winning brit champ Prodrive Legacy which did incidently stay in the rothmans colours but only the rothmans logo removed. Later on he had it resprayed in all dark blue all over. The person who bought it took it back to the white top half rothmans colours I think.

LOL, small world, how funny! I won top prize in the marshall's draw and got a 'high-speed' lap in John Price's 6R4. I was desperately hoping Mike would win the event because I really wanted a go in Solberg's ex-WRC car, but it was the first time I'd ever been in a 6R4 so it was still good fun.

I remember Mike rallying the Rothman's Legacy, even have some photos of it at home somewhere.

L555 REP is owned by someone else I know. it is a active diffs and is now RHD. I actually have a poster of Sainz in 94 Acropolis on my wall. I think it is L555 REP(cant see reg plate on front as there aint one!)

L555 REP is now for sale I believe (about 70-80K?)
