and gangsta your remark of "who will never get the chance to" is making a lot of presumtions and seems a little arrogant. if i want to go test drive a wr1 i will go to the dealer who would be more than happy to let me have a test drive.
Dont think you`ll see an 05 car in blue rinse

My car habits are slowly being cured , only on my third car this year.
Started with a 350Z, went to a 182 and now have an ATR (not too keen).
Plotting my way back to Scooby ownership
Would of had a WR1 apart from the colour, but with the 05 now out, would be my prefered way. Not sure I enjoy losing the amount a WR1 and 05 STI will over the course of one year though - sense if creaping in.

What I will say is how nice it is to see IM getting us access to better cars all the time. 2.5 now in the Forrester, cant be long before it hits the Scooby.

This is the very first I have heard of Ice Blue being available on the MY05 (and as far as I know it's not available in Australia or the US. It would surprise me as this would be more of a kick in the teeth to WR1 owners than anything else, me thinks.

Update from dealer - quite a few of the MY04's have been passed on to dealers, many of whom will probably run them as demonstrators. Numbers are thus lower but there are still many bargains to be had. My dealer now has no MY05's in stock - he had pre-ordered two WRX and 1 STi - the two WRX have been and gone - one to me. Remember that the dealers have only just gone on the official dealer launch of the new STi this and last week so they'll take time to filter through...

My local dealer said that the 05's were due in about a month but they have already delivered 05's (did'nt tell me the latter!!). If you sell after two or three years I can't imagine which MY you have matters much unless is 03 vs 02.

03, 04 and 05 are too similar for the trade to really care once they are a few years old.

Unhappy 04 STI price fall?

I bought a new 04 STI 4 weeks ago for £23,800 with prodrive rear box and then on the 16th they anounced the 05 with loads more gizmo's - so wasn't best pleased. Hope prices don't fall too much!!

Arron you can only order the pale blue/Ice Blue in MY05 WRX saloon & estate
Crystal grey is the only extra colour for the STI

The MY05 press release is back on the Subaru website now. Maybe the MY04's have all been sold?

Just think of us MY02 STi UK owners who got shafted by IM when the MY03 STi's were £2500 cheaper brand new!!!!

Instant £2500 loss over night!
