Well guy's i have a 04 sti with ppp, springs ,18's on and drove the evo VIII MR FQ340 last monday,ordered new one on tuesday!The wife made me think for 24hours,then i waited for them to open their doors so i could do the deal.The evo is F!!k!n ace gunmeatal grey looks cool but i have to say with regret it is better as i'am a big scooby fan!But traiding in the sti was a joke as dealers get 04's out of the way for 05 models this reflects your deal,a bit of resentment why?Sti 04 new £3ooo less on list price.So made mitsubishi drop their price accordingly.So all i can say is if you have the brass get your hand in your pocket and enjoy!Woooooo!

I have a VIII FQ300, the wife drives an STi8.
We only have a single garage.
Working on the presumption that some ****** might take the one that's not garaged, I would give chase, comfortably, in the one that is.
Guess which one's in the garage.
No competition. Hands down winner every time. Faster, better handling, better looking, more spacious, better ride, better seats, better car.

Try the 05, Im serious I had 4 Scoobys, then the EVO now back to Subaru, they have finally produced a car that competes. The handling is superb yet it is still comfortable. It tracks straight ahead on the motorway, no jiggles, no tramlining no crashiness, yet on the twistys there is no understeer, even before you adjust the DCCD. Reserve judgement until you've driven one...
Im not biased as they are both excellent machines.
