E-Mailed the company in this link http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=674600 yesterday with regards to the GC8 shape kits, and the reply I got was a s follows : Sorry but the company in Japan that we use have not finished a kit to suit the GC8 model Impreza's.
I also asked whether they thought a new-age kit could be made to fit and they said we are not sure as its something that we have never done!
Oh Well .
Anyone else had any luck??

I had no luck finding anyone to supply, so adapted the hinges to make these fit.

Also had to drill and tap the wing due to length of struts not being in line with existing wing bolts.
But they work well.

Dave, which struts are they?? I have sat here some to fit a mk3 Golf, and thought I could adapt them. I would need to make up the bracket that fits to the bonnet hinge, that's No Problem. My main concern is they are virtually impossible to push down, and I feel that they will be too strong for the bonnet!! Were yours the same??
How is the action?? Do you need to help them up?
How do you shut the bonnet down?? Can it be dropped the last bit??
Sorry for all the Ques Dave, but seeing as you have already done this, and there aren't many that have I need to pester you to get all the info I need!
Cheers.

Sorry not been on for a few days.
Right, struts have no name on but think are same as INXX.
Mine were the same could not compress the strut without some force on its own, however when fitted to car the leverage of the bonnet reduces this.
And with my Type R I have alloy bonnet so expect more hassle, like it flying open, but it works well.
Smooth action, just remember to grease the ball joints as they rattle as the bonnet hits top otherwise and just sounds cheap.
You need to lift the bonnet a few inches then it opens by itself.
To shut you need to pull down to about same point the drop it, have had to give it a push a few times to shut fully though, but have only had these fitted a few weeks.
No probs.

Just to add, depending on the length and strength of your struts these may not work.
But try both bolts on the bonnet hinge to find which works best.
Guess I was just lucky with the ones I got being the right strength, just a pity the length was wrong.
Hope this helps.
