Spectrums were class - despite taking ages to load and crap graphics - they were all about decent gameplay.
Jet Set ***** was ace, but think my favourite was probably Head Over Heels. Loved Batman too - he used to tap his foot impatiently if you didn't move for a bit...

i remember i had i believe was the atari 516ste ???
at that time it was the wars of atari vs amiga.
sega + nintendo weren't that hot yet.
i went to a shop in totenham court road and was to enquire about upgrades for the atari
so i went in and ask what do you do for the atari 516ste
his reply was he could sell me a bin.

that was at least 12 years ago I NEVER FORGET THAT
