I've got loads of Subaru World Rally Team kit and wear it at rallies. It's well made stuff and is ideal for freezing your bits off out in the forests and letting Petter know he has fans cheering him on. The heavyweight jacket is one of the best coats I've ever owned for warmth. I suppose it's no different to wearing football team clobber to a match.
I'm proud to be a RallyNobber(tm), I don't actually give a flying **** whether anyone thinks I'm sad
Btw, for the record I don't own a Subaru and have no plans to

I wonder if 'www.Manchester united.net' or any other football teams fans are critical of others wearing there team colours, what's the problem with folk wearing their team gear.
And as for Burberry & the plonkers in glassed-up Nova's who wear it, a high percentage of their gear is fake.
SWRT wear it with 'PRIDE'
PNB

I've got 4 t-shirts. My uncle ordered one for me for Christ,as before I dreamed I could afford a Scooby. Then sent him 1 a week for a month!
I don't wear any of them as much now I actually own the car. I do like the dark blue SWRT t-shirts though.

I've got:
1 heavyweight team jacket
1 Woolly hat
1 baseball cap
2 umbrellas
1 neck lanyard
I wear the jacket to motorsport events, haven't worn the wooly hat yet, use the umbrellas for walking to work (1 at a time), lanyard for my work ID. The baseball cap lives on the mantlepieceas it's signed by Petter and Mikko.
A couple of people at work commented on the 'Subaru poster boy' syndrome, but then i have a P1 and they have Renault Lagunas etc.
By the way, i's amazing how many other pits you can get into at Wales Rally GB when you're wearing a full team Subaru getup and have a SWRT pit pass.

I used to like scoobynet but threads like this are the reason why I hardly come on here anymore. Why bother?? It's not exactly a forum for enthusiasts for a particular type of car after all is it? It seems to be spiralling into a forum for a "mines better than yours" "mines faster than yours" "guess what i raced and beat, yeah a fiat uno". This isn't directed at all people on here as I'm sure most are ok. It's just disappointing when you have a forum like this, that it turns into some kind of meeting place to aim negative comments to all and sundry. So what if someone drives a particular type of car. So what if someone wears a particular type of clothing. I used to think that it was freedom of choice. Life is just too short to be even bothered by it all. And on that note I'll end my post and just await the negative responses that i am sure to receive.
Goodnight one and all.

I wouldn't change the clothes I wear just because somebody on an internet message board called me sad.

The thought of a whole new wardrobe did cross my mind when I test drove an Evo a few months back... I'd be lying if I said that didn't influence my decision at all to buy another scooby
</sad>

A couple came up to me on my stand at the Ford show at Donnington and asked if their little lad could have his piccy taken by my scoob. He was about 3 years old and wearing the full SWRT driving suit......He looked cool and sweet. His parents weren't wearing scooby gear so it was kinda stealth like and cool.
I wouldn't buy the jacket, tee shirt etc myself coz it just isnt me. Each to their own I guess, just be prepared to have the pxss taken out of ya the same as any football supporter does.....
