Do you REALLY think it was worth removing? is REALLY that bad? We will complain. I know full well that it will fall on death ears, I know excatly what will happen to this thread. I also know what will pop up in Policy. I also know where to go if I don't like it
But it doesn't stop me voicing an opinion of:
The actions taken were inconsiderate, and spoilt what could be a good thread for people who are grown up enough to accept that this stuff happens.
Those who didn't like it could have stopped that mpeg well before anything happned...you would have to be a ver very stupid fool not to realise what was going to happen! And then have the audacity to complain and moan?
Very selfish, arrogant self-minded actions. I've seen worse videos as a kid, I've seen worse on the news - WITH LESS WARNING!
Come on, do mods really need to give in to airing on the side of caution? Sammy removed because he felt the need, as he was a mod. No blame towards him for that, but perhaps a little more thought for the actions, as there are many other mods willing to remove it just as eagerly. Anything slightly minutely riskque would be removed. hell, I've seen Chaos blurt out more offensive crap that's not been removed.
And IIRC there is still a live link on NSR linking to a car running a redlight, getting T-boned and thrown sideways, flipping over ontop of a crossing pedestrian running for his life...HE WAS KILLED WITHOUT DOUBT - yet it remains.
If one thing I ask for is CONSISTENCY. Then at least we will know where we can stand.

Personally I don't think the RTM function should be anonymous.... I have NEVER used it because I consider myself a well enough balanced individual to deal with things that people put up on an internet site.
If anyone really feels strong enough to press the button then they should also feel strong enough to explain to the people they are depriving why they feel it is necessary. Name and shame the weak minded!!!

As for this one, the removal of the link surprised me, but it would not have been done without good reason.
I can appreciate your position on this, however, the web page has been linked for all to see if they wish, so, on balance, is there really any reason to continue along the anti mod line?
Would be good if we could get the discussion back on topic
