I was actually first registered in March 2001....after reading the board since August 2000 when I first bought my old WRX. Thought I had to pay to use the board.....

First meet was up in Scotland whereby I met Stef who parked his car at my parent's house to go up in my car as his was sick (again) then meeting John Felstead at his place to load up my WRX as a service car then on to bonnie Scotland!!!!

It just went downhill from then on.

And yes, chrisp did indeed think up the Little Miss WRX name after I found I couldn't register Little Miss Naughty.

Hey Mr Tang - I've got some pics of you on the dance machine. Want to buy them off me?

Lol, That's a bit like me, I first registered in September 2000 under a different name but was too scared to post anything until I registered six months later as scoobychick whilst drunk Everyone already seemed to know each other back then and I felt like a bit of an intruder in what appeared to be a tight knit community.

One of my first memories of the board is of seeing pics of Harj with Richard's 22B on the grass at a track day, Dono?

I went to my first meet on my own soon after registering and was terrified but Carolyn and Dave T-S soon took me under their wing

After that was the Easter 2001 'Ring trip which was fanbloodytastic where I got to meet loads of great people and drank lots of alcohol. One of the funniest moments (apart from seeing Felly seriously pished) was watching Ian555, ChrisB and Chris L arrive at midnight after having taken a bit of an unintentional detour via Holland en route from the ferry

I wouldn't be surprised if I still had the bin liners in the boot of the scoob that Paul (not Tim) and I (Tim, not Paul) used for Toboggans on that trip

Andy,

I remember all of those PE days, I also remember seeing your alpine 10s moving out of phase for no reason when there was no sound playing!

andyour 350+bhp on the power enterprises turbo!

those were the days.

Mutant Matt, I think you will find you are really considered old skool if you miss the days before mutant matt arrived on the scene with his sad knitted jumpers!

yeah right, I bet your aunt really doesn make them for you!

oh, and tweenie rob who is new skool sat in the passenger seat as I drove the 22B last night! Does that make him new old skool or old new skool?

OMG.... Matt and his 'Christmas' jumpers!

I bet he got a knitting machine that Christmas!

Adam, the out of phase subs was due to an 'experiemental' sub box (it was evenually solved by using two individual sealed boxes) and that was at one of the early Essex meets. I think Lee Christie had a look at it as well! Friendly Scoobynetters, I remember those days!!

I think there were 40 odd Subarus at the meet all boxing each in, and some comical genius shouted into the pub "Could the guy with the blue Impreza please move it?"

LOL I mentioned the Peel a while back, but since I had a nasty import back in those days, I didn't find the Peel via the local dealer

Dave Lewis and FatBoy gave me my first tracklaps, at Bedford

and I instantly fell for the hard sell on the video mount from one Mr Sadler...

Bedford brings back good memories - Blowdog art anyone? - I was behind the fabled 22B when it went for a gavotte whilst running 280 bhp...

My mate, Jonathan Palmer

Mutant Matt giggling helplessly as we took some, umm, unusual lines into wet bends etc

Mark from Tyres Northampton,Stef (Mr Kitty Litter sorry Cossie Killer), Mellow, Sal, Squires,DTS/CTS, Clang 'n' Ball crew (formation ice dance team), CraigH and his bootfull of NF, Fat Harj (Jackanory ), etc : so many old names, so little memory left...

Nice to see some old names on this thread though!

Maps! who needs Maps when you have Harj (not) sorting out a driving itinerary for you...!

I seem to remember running out of petrol in the middle of Holland, after being sent in the wrong direction over the radio, by someone who shall remain nameless... (cough-Sal-cough) LOL

...and then hailing the only taxi driver in town who was also drug running the local nutcase about, as well as picking us up, the three pissed off amigos

All that and much much more was before my first ever lap on any track, so what do I choose to lose my cherry on? Only something called the Green Hell! in the fecking SNOW!!!

That Easter I will definitely never forget.

I was there that night Little Miss WRX was baptised in Chat.

Was 'little miss naughty' really called Cheryl?
