Guys price is good for Power Engineering, You are getting very skilled technicians with long record of subaru tuning. For people with pre 99 cars the remap can still be done by using PE own piggy back board wich they install inside the ECU (No one can tell) If you want £500 remap go to someone who will want to map it once, perhaps on the road, these guys will run it as much as it needs till they are happy with output of your car. They have 2 rolling roads, one 4x4 one 4x2 always have lrge fan to simulate intake air at speed.

Whilst there you will be able to dicuss your fears wants and mods with peeps who know their onoins about tuning

Rob

pls add names if interested

haha stevey, me thinks you trying to stir it up a bit, Bob Rawle as we all know is quality!!!!!!! Power engineering have set prices, I have negotiated a discount, quite a good one I reckon, If you want in no prob if you don't no problem. Not sure where the animosity is coming from as its a straight deal between whover signs up and PE. If you get Merv tuning ya car there he is worth over £180 per hour. bit confused whos in whos out please guys confirm. I thought the idea of SN was to help each other not rip ideas to pieces.

FAO Gunner:PE wanted 20 people but will do it for less numbers if we cant (10+), basically if we click ovber 20 people the price would drop further, which is probably unlikely to get 20+

Guys who are definately in email your details ie telephone numbers and contact details I will pass to the director of Power Engineering and he will contact you to arrange. He may do it in batches if some more people commit now which would mean nice pre christmas mapping. Two more required for first batch

Just spoken to the mapper at PE... he will not do a remap on cars with bigger turbos, larger injectors or bigger intercoolers.
And as for the £180 remap costs it will just be for basic upgrades ie.induction and exhaust:C

Whats the point of a remap then ? Surely if you can map a car then you can map a car !

Question oh dear

i spoke to pe today and they said they dont do tek 3.
i was under the impression that the group buy was for a tek 3 custom re- map for my car.
it seems this is not the case.

i need a custom remap of my standard ecu to optimise my mods for my car.
it seems they do tek2 but thats a "off the shelf" ecu ,not mapped for my own car, is it not??

due to this ,i will have to take my name off the group buy list.
sorry, i dont like messing people around. but im only going to do this once so its got to be tek 3 custom remap.

Spoke to Robert and he was very helpful...I was quoted £250 for a remap but they will need to see all engine mods before they can give a exact price.
No bad for 550cc, custom sti8 TMIC, Ported FE TD05 and Fuel pump with regulator.

They do not do TEK3 custom map, I spoke to them the other day.

This must be a TEK2 group buy, which I know they used to do.
