I reported an old banger, with no Tax disc, still being used on the public highway on the DVLA website - stating car model, registration number, location and rough time of being used. I noticed a mobile licence van a few days later and then the banger was gone.

Do it, get them off the road, they cost us all so much extra in road fund licence and insurance.

Play it by ear. Was the letter/threat signed or was it anonymous?

Keep the tax/insurance issues for another day. It's always nice to have a handy means of escalation, should the need arise. Do you think they've got TV licences either?

after reading, you goto make peace with your neighbours, i know this isnt what we wanna do cos after all,most complaints come from the W*****s off the road anyway.
in the long run its worth it.......i had this and went round and told them im not selling the car and not changing the exhaust so get over it, rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr(i also said if you keep on i will bring my lorry home and park out side your door) nuff said IT STOPPED

i know how you feel man my neighbours r on my back day an night yet they r on the dole they have a big disabled parking bay painted outside their house (anyone parks in it they get fooked) and their son parks his untaxed chavalier outside my place so i have to leave my scoob half a mile down the road *******

Our neighbours are great! We often have several scoobs pull up outside our house, instead of moaning they come and have a look at the cars, we all pull up as quiet as possible and leave the same way, it makes for good relationships.

If the neighbours that are moaning got a job they'd have a life and not have to interfere (sp) in yours, bloody busy bodies!

yes i have friends who come round and the rest of the neighbours are fine ive just been showing them the letter so i now know who it is so they can just carry on writing them as everone is going to the police
