Not sure how it compares to a UK car, though there's no good reason why it should be much more than one with PPP. Have a rummage through the Insurance forum for some recommended companies to contact - I'm with A-plan, www.greyimportinsurance.co.uk

Thanks for the offer, but I actually like my quiet exhaust. I may swap it for a reasonably restrained pipe to free up a few bhp next year, but I don't feel the need just yet.
Try a post in the 'wanted' forum, std exhausts clutter up lots of peoples' garages. I gave away the one from my last car pretty much for free.

Andy, any chance of a copy of that interior at night shot in a bigger res? Anything over 1024 would be brilliant, as Messiah said, that'd make a great desktop.
I said it before, but I'm saying it again, absolutely gorgeous mate and some great photography too

Not one for the new ones, but that looks the dogs danglies Andy.
Black is definitely the right colour for it, would look the best in my eyes with anthracites, but that's just me.
I much prefer the new style wheels to the ones supplied on the 01-04's.

I don't mean to sound like a young 22 year old fool (honest ) but what is the button to the right of the I/C water spray?

Andy, are the door protectors the same as UK supplied for the STi and are they plastic or rubber?
My WRX ones were rubber and polished up a treat with swissol tyre cleaner but plastic ones I've had on other stuff is a bar steward to clean if you once get paint wax on it...

They're plastic and came from a UK dealer.
To be honest, I don't know why they do separate STI ones. They're shorter than the doors, so not as effective as they should be, and I think the extra STI badge looks funny. I think they're actually supposed to be mounted a bit lower and the existing STI badge on the leading edge of the door is supposed to be removed. They were already fitted when I collected the car, though.
I'd advise checking out the regular WRX strips too - they're plain black and a little bit longer, so they should protect the doors a bit better. To clean them I use Autoglym Bumper Care, which is unappealing-looking green goo but seems to bring them up a treat.

I've been driving my old Primera in the snow - its tyres have at least a bit more tread to them, but more importantly, I can scrap and replace it for the cost of a fairly minor ding in the scooby. The scooby is staying tucked up safe and warm in my garage.

Superb car Andy!
I've just ordered my 03/04 JDM STi from Litchfield, and mine will have the 'quick steering by sti' sticker, otherwise I wouldn't have ordered it! I'd have been very interested in yours had I had that amount of cash.
As for the insurance comments, I live in West London, and am with Privilege, with max no claims. 1 year, fully comp, with £525 excess, very high, I know!
STi Type UK - £582
STI Type UK PPP - £554 (yes, cheaper than non PPP due to more claims from drivers of standard cars)
STi (JDM) - £660
