Great game but does anyone else get fustrated with the mini-map? I know someone else has said it's hard to see but on my two different TV's it so very hard to make out all the locations on it.

Morning Homies! 
Where is that damn pimp car. I thought it was meant to be in the block with the car wash but I cant find it.
Regarding the map, Im sure most of you have figured this out but if you press "X" I think it is whilst looking at the map it then blows it up for you to be much bigger, you can then sroll it from your current position to your destination - easy!
Is anyone doing the missions with the crazy bird that lives in the wooden shack (I forget her name)? Has anyone tried to kiss her? I think I may have missed part of the mission because i didn't. Maybe she'll be back later.
And has anyone been up the mountain to the South west of the countryside region. There is another parachute at the top
I also found a helicopter in the second airport which you can borrow. Does anyone know how long you have to fly about before your pilot skill starts to increase.

Ooo, where's the helicopter? Your pilot skill goes up after you complete the tests in the pilot school, you buy the pilot school late in the San Fiero missions. There's a mission at the training airport where you ride a bike into the back of the plane, I pulled my parachute straight after jumping out and it must have taken half and hour to get to the ground, more freefall if that happens again.
I still havent done the remote control plane shooting mission, going to have to have a crack at it later. Not sure how much more of my life I can dedicate to this game, it's very addictive.

Yep the helicopter is in the 2nd airport... If you drive to the main airport gates you can get on top of the security booth and then drop into the airport.. The Helicopter is much more fun to fly than the planes... for a few minutes I was 'Airwolf'...
Had great fun last night stealing a combine harvester and chewing people up in the blades... nice....

Finally bought this at the weekend and spent a good 10 hours on it - awesome game, much more rounded and with a better atmosphere than Vice City.

Im stuck on the forklift truck mission in the docks, either I die or the other bloke does. If he could shoot straight he would be dangerous. Also stuck on the terminator style mission where the lorry drops off the bridge. Im not even on 10%

The trick with the fork lift mission is after you have done two crates, get off and go round the front of the van and shoot the baddies. Then do one more crate and shoot some more baddies. Rinse and repeat.
This way your buddy remains healthy but you should make sure you start with some body armour and full health. (Armour can be found in the "Atrium" building - the one with the escalators leading to it directly west from your starting house).

There's also armour and a gun in the sewer thing right behind Sweet's house.
Anyone else win on the horses everytime ?? Put all my money on the outsider (12/1) and won three times running, now have over $2m !! Walked out the bookies and a plane crashed in the middle of the road !!
The gang wars are cool, currently got 40% of the city.

I've lost quite a fair few times but I just reload the game from my last save and try again

I didn't bother with them, as soon as you open San Fiero you lose your territory anyhow and the money didn't seem that great.

Just shot down a harrier jet with the apache helicopter
, also been flying around using the jet pack.
I played blackjack at the casino but didn't win
so I shot the dealer
.
Once you have the jet pack at your airbase you can use it to land on top of trams and ride around the city shooting people from the roof without the police being able to arrest you.

I'm still into skydiving. If you get in a helicopter and hover at max altitude over some open ground you can jump out and leave the helicoptor to land itself.
Lost a bloody fortune in the casino last night playing the video poker machines at $5,000 a hand.
I still can't do the first Zero mission and am having trouble with sneaking into the Military base and a Warehouse in LV.

I collected a box, then went and waited around the front of the van & shoot the peeps that arrive, go back for another box, go back round the front of the van & shoot the peeps... etc etc etc...
