Thanks to everyone that has posted replies to my request.
Despite having only just joined scoobynet and having read comments doubting my intentions, I am very pleased to have become part of such a vibrant community where members are clearly looking out for each other.
A ride has been booked for our daughter, and my wife and I are really looking forward to next Wednesday. Many thanks to TDT for being prepared to go to so much effort to help out complete strangers.
I am looking forward to introducing our daughter to scoobynet but not until after her treat on Wednesday. Can't run the risk of her getting wind of this plot.

Counting down to Wednesday, anyone would think that it was my birthday!
Am I getting hooked? Had work to do in Bletchley last Sunday afternoon but on the way there, couldn't resist taking a slight detour via Fenny Stratford to look at Scoobs parked on the forecourt. Maybe a good thing that the showroom was closed.

Why not arrange for the local lads/lasses to come down in their Scoobs and have a mini meet/convoy. Surely your daughters eyes would pop out and her friends be so jealous if 4 or more Scoobs were parked outside the school AND she got a ride in one of them! Maybe too late to arrange for tomorrow, but anyone local want to join in? Safety in numbers too, for any still concerned.

We appreciate your nice idea Keef69, if it was a weekend and more time to plan, we could have organised a mini Scoob Rally at our house. A street full of superb cars would have been heaven for all concerned. Be assured, later today, our daughter will be overwhelmed by what has been planned for her.
