Scoobynet 2
#93
Hi All
Thank you so much for all the kind words and support. It really makes it all worth the headaches!
I wanted scoobynet back, simple as that.
Alistair
Valid question..
The current advertising banners have been running out of courtessy since Friday. We are about to re-start them with the new advertisers.
We will publish a page showing the support these companies have given us all, and hope that we will all support them in return.
Advetising will cover at least half of the costs, maybe 3/4.
We have some stunning plans which will be of great value to everybody AND help support the site. These include a full online ScoobyShop, we will be making up a CD version of the technical archives, running Scoobynet events, etc, etc.
We are commited to making ScoobyNet work. It will get to a stage where it is not a great burden, and the financial commitment will not be too great (or maybe even none at all).
It is a bit of a risk for us, but I truly beleive in the community and would have been saddened to see it disperse. I know we can make it work.
Kev
Phil did a fabulous job of keeping scoobynet running for as long as he did, but just had to hand it over due to the huge time and financial input required.
Cheers
Simon
