Got a black MY04 WRX, waved to sports and turbos, they all wave back, except this tit in exactly the same car as mine who I pass about 3 times per week, he completely blanks me.

Ex Classic Sport owner, now driving JDM Bugeye WRX.
I'll wave at any subaru (1992 legacy 1.8GL estate, etc) and if I really want a wave back...I'll flash my lights first![Stick Out Tongue](images/smilies/tongue.gif)
Not too fussed if don't get wave back, but it's always nice

How often do you find that another scooby comes up behind you and you flash your hazards to acknowledge it...
But if you are the driver behind, do you give your headlights a quick flick???

Not many acknowledgements around here (New Forest) but when they wave it's definately more from classics opposed to new age.
Different story when driving my old MGB, 100% guaranteed smile and wave from other Bs.
I think it's more lkely that you'll find a tinkering enthusiast in a classic with a passion for the car, but many drivers buying new now are not, perhaps because it's their first scoob and theyre a bit of a middle class horsey type, aware of the custom.

On the way to work this morning... what more could I do than flick my headlights and wave at a blue 'Sti' and a turquoise new shape!!!... in New Malden going towards Kingston...
I sometimes wonder if other Scooby drivers lack observation of their surroundings... this wasn't even in traffic...
Oh well...
