Godspeed front disc group buy
#31
Eddscott - My PM is empty now , the difference between the standard size and the 335mm kit is huge ( thats as in size and performance ) I had Mintex M1144 pads which worked fine from cold , the hotter they got the more they gripped , it depends on how hard you drive as to which pads are better for you , Ian can advise you on which pads would be suitable for you .
Gussy - I dont know as I only sorted a deal out for the standard sized ones , email him and ask , perhaps you and EddScott can start a group buy going for the 335mm kits , I think he knocked off about £50 per kit on the last one

Leonski - You have 294mm vented on the front and 266mm vented on the rear , £210 delivered.

Leonski,
I had these before I went for Ian's 335 kit, there is a definate improvement with grooved discs and the right pad, if you're hard on brakes don't get the drilled ones, mines started to show signs of cracking, but then I like braking a lot!!!! Probably ferodo ds2500's are best these days!!

Awd wrx - sorry count me out - I've got home and had a really good look at the existing one's and they are really hardly worn - so I'm just going to stick to the Pads for now!

Its very easy to change the discs , 2 bolts holding the caliper on , take these out , move the caliper out of the way , tap off ( hit hard maybe ) the disc by hitting behind it as its only fitted over the wheel studs , clean off the hub face with WD40 and emery cloth to get a good surface for the disc to sit against , fit the new disc and re-fit the caliper , you should fit new pads as well which requires taking out the 2 pins holding the pads in place , slide the pads out , clean up any brake dust , push the pistons back into the calipers ( this should be fairly easy , if not your pistons could be sticking which can cause the discs to warp ) and slide the new pads in anf re-fit the pins , pump the brake peddle to get all the pistons out tight onto the disc , as I said , a piece of p1ss

Only just got paid for the job I was doing to pay for the discs, but looks like I'm too late if it was only on for 3 weeks...
