I ve had the stronger version of Absinthe, it had a teaspoon of sugar dipped in it and lit.
It knocked my head off and Ive not had it since.
I have also tried the polish 79% stuff and it smells and tastes like IPA smells.
When I was young and daft eh.

I've got a bottle of bacardi 150% proof, 75% vol at home, bought it in LA airport. Pink label. I love my Bacardi, have quite a collection but this stuff tastes vile.

Back on the absynthe front, the active ingredient is called thujon (sp) I believe. Normally get my supplies when I get over to Andorra. You can pick it up for £3 a bottle, for the decent stuff as well.

Was horrible - UK strength spirits are bad enough - that stuff just hurt my insides!! I imagine drinking bleech probably has a similar affect!

A hallucinogenic dose of mescaline is about 0.3 to 0.5 grams and lasts about 12 hours. While peyote produced rich visual hallucinations that were important to the native peyote cults, the full spectrum of effects served as a chemically induced model of mental illness. Mescaline can be extracted from peyote or produced synthetically. Both peyote and mescaline are listed in the CSA as Schedule I hallucinogens.

Im with Chaos, I didnt have a neat pint of Bells but sat and drank a pint of Bells shandy (50/50) havign come back from a club after a female knock-back, also ate 3 bags of chicken crisps, I just dont care me !
By and large anything really high in alcohol is horrible, Grappa tastes like like old books, that Jamaican rum is foul, basically just drink more of something nice, alcohol poisoning however is definitely, not nice, havent had it but a few mates have, generally just feel wretched, depressed, skint fragile and am sure that I have been swigging fairy liquid in my sleep whilst snogging the dogs ****.

i go with the concencus full of **** if our teenage with angst had performed such a stunt,
Unless he had a super fit liver, was a hardend drinker, and could overcome the effects of alcohol poisioning..
i lost count of the number of weekend binges that turned to tragidy i got called out to ..
death by drowning (in puke) is very messy!!!

Quite possible to down a pint of Scotch and live to tell the tale, at least if you sipped it over a persiod of a couple of days !
Seriosuly, me and a mate went to a club with our ladies, we smuggled in half a bottle of Souther Comfort each in the girls handbags, matey takes his jamjar to the bogs and has a swig but lets the lid fall down the bog so he necks the lot after 2 or 3 pints, he was a bit p1ssed to say the least !
