Daz. That first pic of your's and Steve's nose-to-nose is a superb composition.

Interesting. After I'd downloaded them all, your .bmp were 1mb+ and Chris's Jpeg's were 250 ish K. Is that becuase your's were direct off the camera rather than scanned from film?

Chris's were a little 'grainier'.. again is this due to the resolution?

Chris - can you get your's to a higher res to take away that slight graininess?

Floating an Idea

Just an idea I've had floating that should be all these type of pictures... the movies that have been shot (Sticky and Dazzas rabbit culling trip through the Dales)... pics and movie clips from the trackday.. biopics on members & their cars....etc etc....

Web page based.. something to keep.. especially if we do a decent tour of the Nurburgring or Le Mans for next years 'Yearbook'? (removing the drunken bebauched pole dancing bits and keeping them for th x rated version!! )

About time we got some stuff tohgether.. especially as maddy did a crackin 150 MB Scooby montage that couldn't be downloaded by dial up... and Sticky, Dazza, you and Andy must have some great stuff stashed away?

If I've time before tomorrow's meet, I'll do a CD of the digital AND 35mm images I took on Sat, each pic around the 2-ish Meg mark. Took about 160 or so images in total....

Al - please don't mention my stash on a public board mate.... You never know who or what might be lurking.....

Al. Keep taking the medication mate, 'cos the comedy and ideas coming from you today are great.

A WYIOC yearbook on CD (or DVD at this rate) is a great idea. I've got boatloads of footage from both last year's trackdays, NBO and Blackpool, not to mention 'uggins of pictures, all of which I'd be more than happy to make available. Iwill get around to editing down some of the video footage into 3-4 minute 'bite-sized' action fests eventually.
