...and how the hell did you manage the four wheel drift on that last roundabout AND stick your hand out of the passenger window to wave goodbye? Must be those plasticine arms, eh Wallace?

But at the last second, my military training took over and I remembered fighting on Tumbledown.. dodging the sniper bullets.. I was NOT going to let Dave's last words to me being.. 'Brummie'.. as he bent over the flowers adourning 'Cookies Corner'.. with a tear in his eye.. So I grasped the wheel with Hulk like determination and somehow wrestled the car back from 100 degrees out of shape... as the car passed through 90, I remembered another recent Scooby related slide of similar proportions and thought.. 'I don't have any diesel in the boot'...so I bravely wrestled on.. at 60 degrees the Kerb was looming at high speed and another thought flashed through my brain....'there was no way that the club was going to get a second pool trophy' (Note: The club doesn't actually have this first trophy yet, so all would not have been lost if I'd actually contacted)... *** paper and width are two words that can spring to mind ... especially when you mention Chris & money... but seeing that I missed the kerb by 20ft.. you can't use these here..
Be aware that this all happened in 0.923 seconds... this lightning reaction was all down to that Militrary training marching around in shiny shoes.. well worth the tax payers money....thanks guys..
OK. Maybe a 'little' melodramatic ... maybe the back end did slide a teensy weensy bit whilst the front slid another teesny weensy bit...

Another Cook Classic
...although I feel you are somewhat overstating your role at Tumbledown. I thought the Catering Corps stayed well away from the front?

One Andy suggested that we might endeavour to catch you....

Then I though **** it, we'll remind the Chairman why we call him Steady Brummie....

My sincere apologies....
.... for bringing the thread's tone UP to something remotely serious.. Normal service will be resumed as soon as I have an answer or someone muppetises it straigtht away..
There's a strong possibility I'll be needing someone to fit out a new house with Carpet and Tile a kitchen floor... does the club have any carpet layers or tile fitters? Worth an ask to save a few quid...
