Anyone wanna buy a Scooby... or an Evo?
Al, don't have your mobile, so I couldn't lump you in with the mass of texts I sent out yesterday. You should have called me. I'm not a pi$$ed off as everyone is probably thinking. I'm looking upon this 'break from using a motor vehicle' as a sterling opportunity to get out and ride me pushbike. Chris's papping himself already
I'll still be attending the meets, either with the missus, via a lift from anyone who offers (hint, hint), or indeed on the old push-iron, and providing I can get someone to take the car to Gainsborough, I'll be doing the odd trackday to try and not get too rusty.
See you all on Saturday! (Do you need a license to go karting?)

From picking through what's been said, sorry to hear of that Andy - how long if you want to say?
Just think of the savings you'll make on juice and servicing...
See's ya around (hang on, I'm the round one ),

Guys (& gals), thanks once again for all the messages. As I said back when the original incident occurred, I'm taken aback by the offers of help and support. It means more than I can ever say.
THANKS
By the time I'll be able to afford to once again pootle about in an Evo they'll probably be onto the Evo XIII (might have to skip that one due to superstition!!) MR FQ 600
What a nice thought!
Sticky (power to the pedals )

Nearly on page two and no muppetry since the 22nd...
New thread for January's meet has been posted.. all off topic posts can be put here so that new visitors to the thread don't have to sift through 32 pages of fnarring to find the odd gem of information

That's showing your age a bit, Al if you were Sergeant aircrew - a full 3 weeks flying training before facing Jerry
How did you ever get the old crate off the ground with the rope around it - didn't it limit the airspeed a tad on take-off or was it an early VTOL?

Bubba, there's a few old threads with a bit of background to it all, but probably best if you come along to the meet and hear it all 'first hand' as it were
