Chris, Dave & Helen.
Another pleasent and enjoyable Audiophiliac session last night where I claim a small victory in proving that carefully chosen cables & small tweaks can make a noticable difference to the sound qulaity
The final Audioquest cables were a little bright for me, but the system did sound better after the various adjustments...

I'd no idea you knew all the words to The Birdie Song....

First time you've managed to lever Dave off the CD player
You also managed to get a couple of decent disks on there mate.. just ignore Helen's laughter at some choices.. like me, you'll get used to the ridicule...
A great finish on Pink Floyd.... Isn't the Birdie Song a hidden track on 'Dark Side Of The Moon'?

Chris, Helen said on the way home that conversations with you leave her "intelectually battered" On the plus side, she's OK'd the aquisition of a rack similar to yours to replace the huge pine unit currently in use Should look nice with a valve amp atop

First Helen says that I remind her of Mussorgsky, then accuses me of battering her. That's the last time she drinks my Jim Beam....
PS. Don't want to prolong the pedantry, but check out the spelling for 'intellect...' and 'acquire...'

Was it a radar or laser job as I went through a laser one a while back and the RA said 46mph so approx 50 on speedo (in a 40 limit) so was expecting a letter but nothing arrived... Mind you, the bloke looked to have his hands so far into his hi-vis jacket he could have been playing snooker and not playing with the other joystick (if that's how they aim...)

You could try www.godspeedbrakes.co.uk as they do 4-pot and Brembo conversions. There could be a group buy on as it seems to be a popular mod...
If you want to keep the cost of the pads down, you can use standard road friction materials which will cope with you vicar driving style (unless you're like Rev. Ian Paisley on a full rant )
Andy
PS Don't ask Gary for a character reference for Ian Godney - your arms aren't long enough to hold the incandescent phone away from your ear (I never had any problem dealing with Ian if I could get hold of him in the first place when I bought my disc upgrade )
