"The fugitive's name is Alan Cook. Wanted for gross deriliction of duties ! Last seen in the Queensbury area. Average speed over twisty roads is 34mph, so we'll need roadblocks at the nearest 1st gear hairpin where he's bogged down in lag as he doesn't know you can use 1st gear. This man is known to be particularly placid and may befriend total strangers at whim. Approach him with care. "

LOL - Just like to say a Big ThankYou to all who turned up for the informal photoshoot of the new sign. An excellent turnout to say it wasnt publicised. A big Thankyou to Andy of Onsigns for a spectacular job on the sign, came out far better than we ever expected Hope to see you all soon for the official open day in March. Thanks for the Photos Dazza and Harry Boy

You mean that you doubted my ability? a.d the 4:30 a.m. starts in force 10 gales counted for nothing, not to mention the -25degree wind chill when you get up that high!
I can now get to Queensbury with my eyes shut (literally, honest Guv, I've tried it!!)
Glad you (eventually) liked it, anyway.
Cheers for the work, and the mention. Here's to a lot more business, for all of us

Sorry Dave . It really was an impromptu thing and I honestly thought you'd be working. See below for fuller details.. BTW Thanks for the picture below... my baggy arsed jeans (now going in the bin) don't reflect how good looking I really am from the front
Chris's description of impromptu are spot on. I got to know wabout this last night and only knew I was able to make it an hour or so before the off at 1.
Nothing was planned. Andy was popping down to Conrad's to check on a few business things and I'd heard through the grapevine that there was a 'photo shoot' happening.. Thinking it wasn't too far I tagged onto Daz, Chris & Ella. Steve arrived later and the other cars were customers...
600 miles later and just loosing the will to live through Bradford's famous 30 & 40 zones we arrived at Conrad & Mathews new gaff. A few photos later I'm off to Leeds to pick up my good lady...
It was good to meet Conrad after a few PM's and to discuss some club news & details... especially about a club area on his website... I had a quick look at my new Downpipe/upipe combo, looked at a spiffin FMIC & talked Intercoolers... I then explained to Conrad that my missus was going to hate him!
So nothing official, just a few PM's and figuring out that a few people were going down at the same time to take some Photos of Sticky's signage (bloody smart BTW), talk forum & club stuff and about tweaking my motor..
From a club point of view, having some good links to The Racing Line will be great for us all. His new RR sounds the dogs and I was going to mention all this with you at the meet as some RR Shootouts will be in order. Plus we finally have a local specialist garage that will be able to take care of all our needs.. car wise that is.. unless they do 'extras' ? I did forget to mention club discount .. but I'm sure we'll get round to it!!
As mentioned, they're having an official open day (with balloons!) and it will be great for the club to attend and show some support.. we'll no doubt discuss this over a shandy next week.
